After reading some responses and researching some of the links I have to admit I was wrong our founding fathers were all heathens, alchoholics, athiests, womanizers and hypocrites kind of like whats in office today,I was looking at the origin of this great nation thru rose colored glasses and actually believing the constitution was composed by upstanding citizens but alas I was terribly mistaken thank you Jerome for your uplifting appraisal and insight I think I will have a cup of coco and curl up with my teddy bear secure in the  new found knowledge that there were no great men or visionaries and it was all a fluke goodnight America.

Perhaps doing away with all currency would not be a bad thing, everything could be handled on a credit system we do most of our transactions this way now it would be hard on the drug cartels as all transactions would have to be accounted for thru a central bank just a thought smile

yes I also remember this I believe it was the first R&R song that inspired the genre Carl Perkins also comes to mind with the rockabilly style smile

I disagree with this... Influenced by Christian morals would be more accurate. And even that is confusing because "Christian Morals" is used to describe morals supported by Christianity..  Not to say that they are a "Christians" morals...  A wall is intended to be between church and state.

There's a huge difference between basing a constitution on Chirstian "beliefs"  vs christian supported morals~

This is a debate that has been going on forever and going by quotes and exerts is really misleading...  I think reading through the private letters between Jefferson and Adams is interesting though and gives a good insight as to their intent http://www.scribd.com/doc/12305/T-Jeffe … ms-letters

Jerome I beg to differ and I offer some quotes from the founding fathers and signers of the declaration of independance these are but a few there are more.

I dont see anything wrong with  the pledge of allegiance or having God on our currency when this country won its independance the founding fathers based the bill of rights and our constitution on fundamental beliefs rooted it Christianity somehow thru the years these beliefs have been challenged and a slow erosion process grew like a cancer till we find ourselves heading in the same direction as the Roman empire which fell not from without but from within but I have faith that there are enough caring people who will take a stand when the chips are down pledge or no pledge.

Doug desire is a strong motivator a lot of people with your condition would not attept to learn guitar it is a difficult instrument to learn without the condition you have I admire your courage,I could suggest try slide guitar because in addition to full chords you can pick out melodies from not only gospel but blues, rock and country keep on picking smile

It is tragic, drugs and booze have contributed to the demise of many talented people way before there time and it comes as no surprise that people look much older living a life of abuse then those who dont.Another great artist is gone.

Jeff Beck live at Ronnies the tones he conjures up and his execution are flawless check out the bass player (Tal Wilkenfeld) she is rock solid and extremely creative and cute as a bug.I loved Jeff Becks "Truth" album with Rod Stewart and he may be a bit older but like fine wine he is priceless, the bass solo in the second song on this video is phenominal smile

Confused and frustrated I had a plan and stuck with it its like in chess you have a plan based on positioning your pieces in the opening you must take into concideration your opponants move and his plan and try to impliment yours but keep faithful to it or your only reacting and defensive thanks dino for the nice comments smile

dino I think it looks clean and hot I had a bit of a tussel with the wiring and pickups the new neck was a lot easier then I though to bolt on but once I drilled into it a half inch it went smooth I will take a little more time with the finish in a few weeks or so no rush I'm happy with the results smile
