Hanks gonna try and rekindle his obscurity, he's composing a song about the way he was treated by this whole "trying ordeal"  personally I like his dad's singing a whole lot better.

I think the most influential musician to me was Richard Burton only because when I heard him backup Ricky Nelson I was really impressed with his fills and that was when I started getting serious about playing leads and music I was around 20 at the time and this Thursday it will be 50 years ago time flies. on a unrelated note I was watching a special on Steve Jobs he was giving a speech at a college graduation class he quipped "everyone wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die to get there"brilliant to the end smile

Some forums allow direct upload but unfortunatly Chordie does not... So you'll need to upload it to a hoasting site like Flickr, photobucket, etc...
Then you can take that html and insert it...      [ ] html here [ ]

This is incorrect the reason for slash chords is more for chord voicing the bass usually plays the root and a slash chord is not restricted to first position forms, as an altered chord it can be played anywhere on the neck smile

janzi5 wrote:

Hi ibexx, our compadres' are correct, but usually the slash chords would be played by the bass guitar, same thing really. i know ite an old post but only just joined..!

I think what happens is after the string has no tension from bending it returns it to the correct tension setting (just a guess) smile

Baldguitardude wrote:

I dont understand how it works with string bending. if the point of the thing is that it keeps the strings under constant tension, how does it know to allow you to modify the tension by bending?

I cant see where a tremelo makes any difference since you bend the strings anyway and this compensates for this automatically smile

bunbun wrote:

Not gonna be much good if you have a trem. They are developing a trem system but don't have one right now. Looks like a good system though.

no not quite it works without motors if you google it up they most likely will have some tutorials
it seems to be less complicated which is a good thing I can look into it when I have some time smile

It is a cool idea.  Heat and humidity on stage will throw a guitar out of tune in no time.  Is that the same sort of thing used in the Gibson robotic guitar?

This is a frequently asked question these are called slash chords D/F# for example means the note D is the chord and the note F# is the lowest note played in the chord all slash chords follow this rule: "the note to the left of the slash is the chord and the note to the right is the lowest note in the chord" smile

If you like it and it plays well a hundred bucks is a deal.
