Welcome Kevin.  Glad to meet you.  This site has some great people and great music to try.  Practice is everything.

I have quite a few Beatles Tab sites bookmarked, but not that one.  Thanks.

I've been retired from the Government for  almost three years.  Now I finally have enough time to practice every day and I have gotten better.  Practice really does help.  I notice a real difference from week to week.

There might be a lot less racism if we could do away with Afro-American.  He is an American in my book.  I rarely see people saying they are Italian American or Scottish American.  Oh, there are some, but most people are happy being American.  We should all be proud of what we are, but to point our every word to another country, well.  I also did not vote for Obama, but I will sure as hell support him.

I have a DG-22S and I like it, but my older $150.00 Ibanez sounded better.

I just hold the bottom two strings down with my index finger and the other three notes are held down with the other fingers.

Ah, whiskey can produce the sound of angels

Go to http://linkesoft.com/songbook/  This is a program for handhelds and Windows, each bought separately.  I have used this for several years and love it.  You can transpose, edit, make playlists and much more.  It is based on chordpro format.

People with an attitude should not even be allowed to work in any kind of store.  Period.

You either got it or you don't.  He does and I don't.

I moved to St. George Utah after I retired 2 years ago.

I actually read all manuals as soon as I get a new piece of electronics.  I want to know everything about it.  Am I weird?

Yeah, beer and front porch strumming.  That's the way to go.

I tend to like a lot of the 7th chords, E7,A7, D7, B7.  They have a bluesy sound.

He also did an album with Chet Atkins.  Real good.

Those have always been two of my favorites since they first started.  Yeah, I go back a ways.  I have always said that neither one has a great voice, but there is something about them that always brings me back.  I have most of their music and listen to them often.  Neither of them would make it past Simon Cowell these days.  You gotta wonder how they would do on American Idol.  Oh, the times they are a changin, aren't they?

Better yet, on YouTube do a search on Heart of Gold lesson.  I just tried it and there are several.  Good luck.

There is a real good lesson on YouTube, but I can't remember who does it.  Just search for heart of Gold.  You should find it.

I played with a pick for years, never quite feeling comfortable holding it.  Then, for some reason I just started using my thumb and fingers and I like it better.  It is not quite as loud as I prefer, but I have found over time my thumb and fingers have also gotten a little harder and the sound it a little louder now.  I think they harden with time.  Give it time.  I have tried a thumb pick but can't quite get used to it.

I am just guessing that it means No Chord is played at the beginning of the song.
