sorry i missed the thing about no pre 90's stuff

is there anything out there post 90's that is even decent to play that isn't metal?

i suggest that you play anything you can find because you can finger pick any of it and add stuff as you'd like

i like playing a lot of good old songs with a lot of easy chord rhythms and a few tabs...any suggestions?

i also prefer playing things that are a little romantic like old hair ballads and things like adam sandler's grow old with you

I personally change my strings once a month


but that's probably because they begin to get harder to keep in tune from playing my guitar everyday for about 3 hours.


and i use martin strings...can anyone suggest any other type that last  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif" border=0 alt="Shocked"> super long? <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif" border=0 alt="Shocked">
