Look for a product in first aid supply called NEW SKIN,that and switching to a very well set up Guild 12 string for a week or two seemed to help my big fat fingers lol, also when you sit down to practice warm up first,I'd kind of get into a trip of just rambling thru the chords that I knew till it kind of comes out like a weird kind of music. Then I'd sit down and practice songs off the easy songbooks menu,B chords and much below the 3rd fret still do me a number,to many years logging and injurys make for stiff wrists and fingers. Having a well set up guitar with compatible strings also takes a lot of the work out of it. Hope that this helps you.

I HAD MY FENDER DG-22D SET UP BY BENTLY'S IN EVERETT WA.THE LOCAL MARTIN REPAIR CENTER, IT BLEW THEM AWAY,IN THEIR WORDS AS GOOD AS ANY D18 ,I THINK TO MUCH DARNED HYPE IS PUT ON HOW MUCH IT COST,OR ITS NAME,GOOD POINT ,RESTORED AN OLD HARMONY ARCH TOP,WAS A GREAT FUN PROJECT,BUT IN ALL REALITY MOST CHEAP WELL $100. BUCKS AND UP CHINESE GUITARS WITH DECENT STRINGS WILL BLOW IT OUT OF THE WATER SOUND WISE. SEEMS THESE DAYS THINGS ARE BUILT TO A LOT TIGHTER TOLURANCES, YOU KNOW MODERN MANUFACTORING.GEEZ I NEED TO TAKE SPELLING CLASS OVER

57 YEAR OLD BEGINNER OR MAYBE A TAD BETTER ,THAT LOVES AND COLLECTS ACOUSTIC GUITARS,NO MARTINS OR TAYLORS HERE,A FEW VINTAGE FROM THE 70'S AND SOME PROF. SET UP FENDERS,AND CRAFTERS,AND EPIPHONE.  LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO JAM WITH UP IN MY VALLEY.
SIMPLE CHORDS,LOTS OF STRUMMING A BIT OF PICKING,ANYTHING FROM THE STONES TO HANK SR.
