I'm assuming you're doing this on an electric?  I would think that sticking pictures on an acoustic would have to have some affect on the sound.

DE

I am pretty sure they would effect an accoustic also.

What ever it takes to keep one motivated!  Have been wanting to do this myself but on a explorer body.  Just looking for a garage sale find to do it to.

Most of the above posts are all gobbledegook to me.

All the best
Bushy

I’ll admit there are a couple that make no sense.  Like the one above you, and a few others.  I will yield on my spelling, I am a phonetic speller, if the auto fix does not hit it, I will usually read the same mistake and not notice.  There are times when I am typing tooo fast and it ends up wonky.  But your right, there are at least 2 above that make no sense at all.  As for the rest, we are talking about effect boxes and the like and we all know what were saying lol Ok so it’s kind of a text short hand sometimes, but understandable.
(Just for you I ran this through Word spell check and repasted LOLOL big_smile  )

Thanks,, 1st picture is from the room I rented in Fl.  Just Jamming with Jimmy!  The second one I was about 17.  Second guitar and first strat.  It was an Ibanez that I picked up for about 150.  It was a great guitar.  Oh and you will notice that Im Jamming here with ACE! ( My first guitar hero) Note the Keybd to my right,, it was an old Moog Polly mini, very cool to have around.
little pic ... oops I forgot that I resized it for profile pics LOLOLOL

I would just go and play all the mid priced brands.  I honestly dont get caught up in name brand.  You might find a jewl for the price of a stone.  That being said,, some stones are pretty pricy too lol

Different woods make different sounds, and Ovations have teh volume and great tone also,, but I am Biased. big_smile

We had a post similar to this a year or 2 ago but I couldn't find it to resurrect it so I figured I'd just start a new one...

Hopefully we can keep this going and have a place to put a face to some of the names here. smile

Feel free to post up a pic of yourself or of you jamming with others!  If you have trouble uploading pics you can email them to chordiephotoalbum@yahoo.com and I'll get them posted for you.

Here's a pic of 3 chordians to start it off.

This was taken by my wife during one of our weelky jam sessons...

I'm on the left, Truckstop is in the middle and headstrong is on the right..  They don't visit the forums much but are dedicated chordians none the less..  Truckstop has been hanging around a bit more lately and will probably start posting soon....

Garage Beer days
By Scott Sailer,  Lyrical and arrangement help by Roger Guppy
As you feel it in 4/4
Verse = D, C5add flat9, Bm#5add4 , Am
All the C5 and Bm chording is a rundown by keeping the 3rd fret of a D (3rd fret B string) and hitting the C root and Bm root on the A string with birdie finger then index finger) (clear as muddy water right?)
Chorus is just G, Bm, C and D (use bar chords from the Bm to D just progress up the neck as it feels good to you)

HANGING OUT NOTHING MUCH TO DO,
SMOKING A CIGAR WITH A BUDDIE OR TWO,
DRINKING SOME BEER IN THE HOT SUMMER SUN,
WE CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT TO GET DONE.

IT’S A GARAGE BEER DAY,
PLENTY TO DRINK AND NO WHERE TO GO
IT’S A GARAGE BEER DAY
STOP ON OVER AND SAY HELLO

BUILD A FIRE ‘CAUSE THE SUNS SETTING LOW,
WE’RE STARING AT THE EMBERS AS THEY GLOW
BREAK OUT GUITARS, STRUM A FEW BARR’S
SING ABOUT GIRLS, SING ABOUT CAR’S

IT’S A GARAGE BEER DAY,
PLENTY TO DRINK AND NO WHERE TO GO
IT’S A GARAGE BEER DAY
STOP ON OVER AND SAY HELLO

RED MOON’S SETTING LOW IN THE SKY,
WE BEEN SITTING HERE FEELING GOOD AND FEELING HIGH
IT’S THE END OF THE DAYS WITH MY BUDDIES AROUND
SHARING GOOD TIMES AND MAKING GREAT SOUNDS

SUN BREAK’S THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY
AND WE’RE SHUTTING DOWN A GARAGE BEER DAY.
WE’RE SHUTTING DOWN, WE’RE SHUTTING DOWN
A GARAGE BEER DAY

I like the 1/2 step lower  for the same reason a lot of bands do,,, easier to sing to and it adds a little meat to the sond big_smile  (I think Kiss only has one song in E tuning out of all the records they have made.)

Kimberly is awesome,, she also has music out under her own name which is less punk.  her voice is right up there with Amy Lee and Lzzy Hale.

here is a softer side of her  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEw2u1wA … ure=relmfu
