Thanks for reply. Tried that but doesn't work either on iPad or laptop. It's strange, all my songbooks on Chordie are in original format but the public books appear to be in text-only. Also just been looking at Eagles page and all their songs are in text only with no option to change key etc.

Firstly thanks to all who gave their time in making the new site.
A couple of things, the font button doesn't work for me and all the songs (apart from my songbooks) are in chordpro format, anyone else found this?

Hi All
I save my songs into songbook on Chordie but also like to keep a copy in a file on my computer using Micrsoft Office Word but recently I am unable to do that. All I get is a big black dot where the text should be. Anyone got any suggestions?

No, it works fine in my songbook. What I like to do is copy and paste songs using Word into a separate file on my laptop dont usually print them

Chopro is fine for copying, but when I try and transpose to a different key in chopro, then try and copy song, it reverts to original key.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi All
Although I have a couple of songbooks on Chordie I do like to copy and paste some songs using Word into a file on my laptop. I am having trouble editing them there and trying to remove the formatting. Anyone else having this problem and is there a solution?

I know there are several other tab sites (Not as good as Chordie!!) where all the Beatles songs are freely available. Why, if the songs are not stored on Chordie, cant we use them in the UK, or are the other tab sites heading for big trouble. Off with their heads I say!!!! (The Beancounters, that is)
