Nothing else sounds like a Martin, and nothing else plays like a Taylor.  Happy NGD.

Love the quote. Nailed it right on the head!!!!!  I love Martins deep sound and Taylors(and Breedloves) play like melted butter.

I just saw a band called " Need To Breath" at local venue. I had never heard of them before, but after seeing them live, I'm a fan.

The more I mess around with my electric guitar, the more I'm looking for "THE SOUND".I play on a Roland micro cube amp with a multi effects pedal. plenty of sound for the basement but it still has a little box sound. I'm looking to pick up a new amp and wondered if anyone has an opinion on this amp? Line 6 Spider iv 75.

After 12 years of regular playing out, hundreds of hours of tweaking, and thousands of dollars in effects pedals, I am pleased to announce that I have finally found my sound.

I started teaching my 18 yr old son guitar about 5 yrs ago. I started with some basic chords and finger exercises. I made sure he didnt wait to long to start on the barr chords. He started looking things up on the internet on his own and has surpassed me about a year ago. I stared teaching my 16 year old son the guitar when he was about 9. He lost intrest very fast so we got him into piano lessons because he showed so much musical promise. He gave up piano after 3 years and wanted to try playing the Bass guitar. It turs out that was his instrument. In less then a yaer he was in two bands, I dont know where it came from. He now plays piano, drums guitar and the bass is his main instrument. You never know. I would just say get behind them no matter what they want to learn. By the way my 9 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons for two years now. One more thing I would strongly suggest is to teach on an acoustic guitar first before they pick up an electric. Good luck and have fun with them, my family has become very close thanks to music.

I did the same as you last weekend! Went into the shop with cash so I couldn't over spend and played everything I could afford. Ended up with a Breedlove Atlas. It is absolutely wonderful. I can thoroughly recomend them.

Great choice.

I love my Atlas.  Their customer service is top shelf, too.

I use 11's on both my Breedloves and 12's on my Ibanez. I also use 10's on my electric, I tried 9's on the electric but I'm so used to playing acoustic's I put too much pressure on the strings and it sounds out of tune.

My boys and I are heading to the guitar show in our area this Sat. We look forward to it every year. This time were looking to upgrade a new Bass for my younger son( he's definitely ready). I wont be purchesing this time, I think I'm still in the dog house from  my last show, where I came home with a new electric. It's fun just walking around, it's a vintage guitar show and they have alot of nice vintage stuff there. I've seen price tags from $50,000.00 and up. I walk around with my hands in my pockets so I dont bump into any thing and then have to sell my house.

Have you ever seen that commercial with the guy sitting on the beach holding a Carona bottle sideways, and the sail boat in the ocean looks like it's floating right into the bottle? I've actually tried it, and come to find out I'm really good at it. Now if I can only find a way to make money with this new found talent !!!

I'm not really a twelve string guy eiher, had one once and got rid of it.i

I agree with Jerome! My gun collection is bigger than my guitar collection, but I would have to go with my Breedlove Master Class. They would have to pry that guitar from my dead fingers.

I wish I could play the "GUITAR"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Determine your budget, then go play as many guitars in that price range as you can find.  One of them will speak to you.

I have an Atlas and a Master Class Breedlove and I will never part with either of them. Fantastic guitars at any level. I used to go to Guitar Center and play all the high end models of other brands but I cant find anything that plays as sweet as my high end breed love. The guys I play with often pick up my Atlas and say, they havent played anything that feels and sounds so nice.

Always had it, Always will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, my name's John and I'm a "GUITAR AHOLIC". It seems lately if my guitar buying matched my playing ability, I'd be Jimmy Hendrix. I would like to join the revolution of less buying and more playing! ( I'm already getting the shakes just thinking about it).
