Try "if you could read my mind" by Gordon Lightfoot.  "G, Gadd9, F, B, Dm6" it's a bit challenging, but very nice

I'm running 800x600 and I have no problem running high graphic sites.  I used to be an administrator at www.haze-reborn.com ...that had alot of graphics (we used PHPNuke templates)  maybe you should update your server to phpnuke.  If I upload song lyric files to one of my websites, is there any way you can link to the files?  I couldn't care less about copyright issues.  let me know

I have the out of tune problem with my strap capo as well.  I fixed it by moving the capo a bit further away from the fret.  Give er a try

you misunderstood alvee33  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing"> the logo in my post was one that I made, which I thought was better than the existing one.  They aren't actually using it.

what good is life if one can't get pissed off once in awhile? And no I'm not going to take up the piano, I can play the guitar just fine, I just hate solid body electrics.  Hollow bodies are fine, but anyways.  Glad I could make someone laugh at my misery

The site is quite amateur looking in my opinion, and I don't like the way the forums come up now.  They used to come up with the original message, with all the replies plainly listed underneath.  Now you have to open the original message to see the replies. Your chordie logo is quite amateur, and could use some help. If theres one thing I know, it's graphic design.  I Will attach a logo to this message which I have personally made, and would love it if you replaced your main logo at the top of every page with it.

um no that doesn't help much.  Any forum I have built is editable, so you can add your signature and everything to it.  Don't you have a way to edit the signature?

some capo's such as mine are like this <img src="index.php?t=getfile&id=124&private=0" border=0 alt="index.php?t=getfile&id=124&private=0"> and go on the neck with the handles facing towards the back of the neck.  Maybe the original message had the wrong picture of a capo in it.

I realized the other day that my electric sounds like a piece of sh*t and I hate it, so I ripped the machine heads off it and fixed my acoustic which had screwed up machine heads <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif" border=0 alt="Smile">  After I was done with that, I ripped the pick guard off the electric, cut all the wires inside the body, smashed it against the wall, took the neck off and put the body through my table saw <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif" border=0 alt="Smile">  looks like I won't be playing a solid body electric again...thank god.  peace

somebody hasn't been eating their "wheaties" <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing"> I Have a clamp type capo and a strap type.  The spring on mine has always been quite hard to squeeze together (it has to be, so it holds the strings down all the way) mine is 3 years old and still hard to squeeze.  If you can't handle it, I suggest trying a strap capo, it has a plastic thing that slips into groves on the main part.  it looks like this <img src="index.php?t=getfile&id=123&private=0" border=0 alt="index.php?t=getfile&id=123&private=0"> Hope that helps, peace

Perhaps someone could inform me as to how one would edit their profile on chordie.  I Have been building websites and forums for about 5 years now, but I cannot find the edit profile feature on this site.  It isn't a standard javascript or html forum I guess.  Any help is appreciated, I'm sure other people would like to know as well.

I've heard of lots of east coast bands (i'm from here).  My favorite musicians from here would have to be; Andrea, Kinnon and Betty Lou Beaton, The Cottars (now split up), Buddy McMaster, Ashley Macisaac (he's insane but he plays the fiddle good) and my favorite singer of all time is Johnny Cash.

That was pretty much a joke.  I'm not a pro, but I know whats right and whats wrong.  As for your lil comment about "A Pro at 14...wow" or whatever you said...Look up Sierra Hull, Ryan Holladay or The Cottars.  All VERY fine musicians under the age of 14.  Sierra Hull is 13 and one of the finest mandolin and guitar players I have heard in my life.  Check out these 2 videos;

You Have to watch the whole first video before you see her get into the flatpicking, it's insane

Any more questions or remarks? I would be happy to address them

as long as it was a typo lol.  As it is said below, Willie Nelson plays a martin classical, but you won't find one of the same quality as his.  You can put nylon (catgut) strings on any guitar really.  The

16 Series - 000C-16SGTNE Martin Classical is a good guitar. It has a pickup in it (acoustic/electric) and sounds pretty good.  Not sure on the price though.

Good luck with your playing

Hi Everyone, Big DJ Here.  I Just added a new page to my website about guitar playing and learning, for beginners and advanced players.  Go to my website <a href="http://www.bigdjindustriez.tk" target="_blank">http://www.bigdjindustriez.tk</a> and look for "Guitar Playing Tips" in the navbar around the top of the main page.  You will find lots of links to chord and lyrics sites, as well as a chord dictionary program.  Enjoy! - If theres something you want added, let me know.

Dude I just about crapped my pants laughing when I saw "Esteban"  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing">  It reminds me of his stupid commercials "Well I was in a plane wreck and I made this guitar out of my dead friends arm, and now I want to sell it to you" or something like that. It's hilarious. If you buy crap from him, you will be sorry.

Good point "Ovation 93", thats what I have been trying to tell these very stubborn people all along!

Ah it's all garbage.  Don't let anyone tell you how to hold a pick, hold it however it feels comfortable to you (as long as it works in that position)  Or you can get one of those "thumb/flat picks" which are made by "Herco Corporation"  They look like a regular flat pick, with a loop like a thumbpick, and are farrr less rigid than a conventional thumbpick.  Do what you feel! peace

tube amps are hard to come by these days.  Fender makes the best ones.  You can get an original fender amp off ebay for around 2,000 dollars.  But it's well worth it.  I hear Marshalls are good, but have never used one.
