Anyone figured out the banjo part to Steve Earle & The Del McCoury Band's "Connemara Breakdown"? It's on their "Dixieland" album.
It's capo-ed to A for the banjo to compliment the fine mandolin and fiddle parts. The chords are then "held" as C G C G (x2) F Bb F G C.
There's a bridge with possibly a Bbm F.

It's: C G C G with chorus F Bb F C bridge may have a Bbm in it, but not sure.

That's interesting. About two weeks ago, I was playing with two guitars. One guy recalled that song. Later, I tried to listen to it on the web. Could not find. With those two guys, I just played forward rolls and forward-reverse rolls through the whole tune. Forgot what key we were in. I will be playing with this guy again, will ask him and get back to you. It was on the album with the little birds and butterfles on the cover.
