Hi Grah1
Appreciate the listen. It feels weird putting up old songs but kinda fun trying to put it to video.
Thanks Again
Ken

Hey Jeff,
Real glad you liked how it turned out. Kinda uncomfortable taking pictures off the net for it but I'm guessing it's OK.
Cheers
Ken

Hi Artie,
Thank You Kindly for the listen and positive feedback. I don't know if the vocals are more sincerity or just plain scared but I Thank You. As for XP and Win7 I still haven't figured it out but I'm now thinking it is because my vid recorder (Zoom Q3) works with Quick time so I had it set up for XP. I think I have to download new Quicktime for Win7,,,not sure...but praying cause I'm tired of pulling my hair out. It's a completely different set up and will take some getting used to but it's do-able.
Thanks Again
Ken

My first tune if I remember right......so long ago lol was Eve of Destruction by Barry Maguire. Easy 4 chord song until that annoying Bm came into play but I had to learn it and I'm sure glad I did.

Hey Phill,

Following up with Tonys comments, another strong recording from you. I hope you weren't in the doghouse and forced into the writing about yer stepmum lol I'm guessing not.
Still love the vox. Looking forwards to your next tune.

Great Work as usual smile

Hi ark smile

I was wondering if you would like to hookup via the net and collab on one of my tunes. It is a re-write of one of my earlier tunes and your ambient style and talent would fit real nice to it.

Don't feel you have to say yes.

Shoot me an Email.

Ken

Hi Roger, Thanks for the listen and compliments smile also on my Youtube page. It sure beats sleeping or sitting in front of the tube. I'm also having some fun with it to boot.

Thanks Again

Hi Artie, I'm flattered that you want to learn my tune but unfortunately I can't help you out with the style of picking cause I don't know what it is or called. I also don't know how to do tabs. Sorry about that.
Perhaps another member with a kean eye/ear can cypher it out for you and if you do find out....let me know cause I'd sure like to know.

Cheers

Ken

Hey es Thanks for the listen. This was my first video and only took about 4 hours to do from start to finish. Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 has an re-a-a-al easy learning curve. Two Thumbs Up smile

Thanks Guys. I'm not sure what your hearing, when I listen, I shudder down to my socks. Moving out of my comfort zone sure ain't easy but if I wanna get gooder I godda get a little brave. smile

Jeff,  Billy Walker is up next so by all means learn what you can so I can hear you play them at Chordiestock 3

Hey Dave, the emotion you hear is sheer terror on my part but I Thank You for the flattering compliment.

Hi Phill,  Thank ye for the thoughtful words. My picking is getting better since the stroke and I hope to be where I was in a year or so.

Hey Jeff, Thanks for the listen. You should look at the VideoStudio ProX6 and put your great tunes up. You tell a good story. If I can half-a**ed figure it out then you can. This way we can bounce ideas or problems/solutions off each other. I picked up the Video/Photo version so I can do pictures after I figure out the video end. $125.00 Canadian for both, not sure what they are single but you can get it

Thanks Again smile

RIP Mickey, I think I heard he's been in show business for 90 of his 93 good years. Seen a ton of his movies growing up. Great character actor.

This is a prequel to California Bound By Way of Mexico. Billy Walker says his goodbyes after being shot by the cooked law. Another sad one but what the hey. Having lots of fun with Video Studio but sure do smoke a lot...don't tell my doc lol
Anyways if inclined to hurt your ears please click on the link to my web site and have a listen.

Here is the page to the lyrics/chords.

Hey Ark smile

I knew you had it in you for singing.
I like your use of metaphors to convey how you feel.

"You gave me colour, drove away the grey"

Very powerful writing.

Hope their more vox in the future smile

Cheers

Ken

Not sure how the original version read but I like this one. I'm not one for trying to imagine the tune to the song so I'll wait for your recording hopefully.

Hi Dave, Sorry I can't help you out with recording cause I get flummixed just like you. As noted by Doug and Russ, Reverbnation  Youtube, SoundCloud and MySpace are great sites for posting on. It can be confusing joining some of them so if you have a problem let us know and we'll  help you out.

Looking forwards to hearing your tunes.

Ken

Hi Amy,
Man...I wish I had your confidence in front of a vid cam. It makes all the difference in the world. smile Awesome voice.

Great job on both Danny Boy and Delta Dawn.

Ken

Thanks Again for the encouraging remarks smile I'm hoping to get less scared about hearing my voice/playing and seeing me cause it really buggers me up when it's recording time. To me I sound and look like crapola (me thinks me do).  Anyways...Big Thanks, it means a lot.

No star here Phill, just trying to try wink

Hey Ark, It's been awhile. Thanks for listening, I value your feedback so I plan to get myself gooder. I hope your still writing, I really love your style.

Jim, Most days I feel I am the subject of the song so writing it was pretty easy. Glad you enjoyed the vid.

Thanks Grah 1 I hope to be able to do more.

Thanks All

Geez Phill, I'm sorry to hear about your puter problems. I wish I new something that could help but unfortunately I'm illiterate when it comes to puters. Don't give up yet it sounds like Doug and Amy know there stuff.

Hope you can get it cyphered

Hi Jeff,

We can't do enough for those have chosen to serve for our countries. Hopefully the powers that be can recognize the "Selfless Deeds" that occur world wide and stop the bickering where the rubber meets the road.

Good One smile

Looking forwards to the recording.

Cheers

Ken

Thanks everyone for the encouraging feedback  It's good to hear. smile

I'll try to post one a week (that should help me with my fears) cause I'm having a frustratingly good time trying to figure out VideoStudio Pro X6. Playing in front of a mic/camcorder is another story.  If anyone knows any little tips/tricks for this program please let me know.

DE Glad to hear I passed your test. I've listened to a lot of your songs and really appreciate and like your style. There's nothing like a down to earth tune to brighten your day. Sorry for not posting remarks on your site. Please chalk it up to "plain ole nerves"

Thanks Again All

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the listen and positive feedback. Hopefully I won't looked as scared on future vids. Chordiestock does sound like a blast. If I can keep my ducks in a row I might be able to make 2014.

Big Thanks Again smile

Ken

P.S. Can you move this into the songwriting section where it belongs. I had an anxiety brainfart. lol
