As soon as I posted this question....which took a while......Chordie sped up to normal fast speed so I don't know what was up. Must just be my Pooter.

I haven't seen any posts about it from anyone but it seems to me that Chordie is running very slowly for the last few. Anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

Thanks

Sorry guys but I have had an indication that unlocking this would give the administrators problems and whilst I am annoyed that UK users can't access Beatles music it seems that Chordie can't ignore these requests not to publish. But if you think about it you might be able to find out how to get access as I did. I have no knowledge of computers except very basic stuff and I just lucked in by constantly trying different things

Good luck

Dear all - I have read those links fromother places on the forum discussing this problem and the truth is I do have a solution but I wasn't sure I should let it be made public in case Big Brother shut that last source down as well. I asked the question to see what response I got. What do you all reckon? Should I publish what I think works here or not?

It is only Chordie. Are you from the USA? I collected about 30 Beatles songs in my songbook and now I can't access them.

In the UK we can not see Beatles tunes. Does anyone know a way around this?

there are about 250,000 members on the listing so if we paid £5 each that would bring in £1.25 million..........

In fact, if you punch in Beatles to the Search engine under Public Songbooks, you can gte loads of Beatles songs, turn them into VIEW and print them off to circumvent the ban that exists on UK websites.

I was thinking exactly the same thing but in teh FAQs it says "The best way of supporting Chordie is to link to us from your web-page." But I don't have a web page so there must be some other way.....

I checked - you can view all the Beatles songs that I have collected but of course they are in my key and are showing in guitar chords whilst I saved them for Ukulele BUT at least they are there for access.

A big thank you to all at Chordie for their service - about time I bought a T shirt!

I realised Chordie was important to me but I didn't realise how much until I lost it for a day!  By the way, if you are in the UK and lost access to the Beatles you can see the ones on my Song Book if you press Print View  Under BOWTALK. I hope it works for you because I can recover all my own lost Beatles syuff.
