Your feeling guilty. If you would hold him and call him baby like you do your guitar all will be well. By the way, have you ever mistakenly called him Martin?lol
I can't see them either but Congrats and welcome.
We are praying for you my friend.
I use them on everything I have with no problems.
By the way, my user name comes from my poor playing, not from the strings I use.lol
Thanks for the replies.
Zurf in my case it certainly is a leaning experience.
Is it ok to do copyrighted songs in a jam session? I have read so much info that makes me think it is wrong but just can't believe it is since no one is getting pad to do it. Actually it's a complement for some one to like a song well enough to try and share it.
Margarator, well loks like I came to the right place, not trying to offend anyoen with this but, Lord You are almighty, all knowing and evr present in our lives, I want to lift up topdown's brother n l;aw Gary right now who is suffereing from menengitus, Father I do not know you exact will here but I do know that many things that happen in our lives are just a prayer away from being taklen care of, afetr all you told them, by their faith they are healed. Be the god of all confort for everyone here because you know all too well how it is when our loved ones suffer. Heal Gary, and comfort thos who love him, in your name, amen
When restringing my Mandolin I rub soap in the slots in the nut so the strings won't drag and cause excess tension while tuning. At least one of the grooves on my E strings is tighter than it should be. Soap is cheaper than strings or a trip to the luthier. Oh oh! No offence folks.
Thanks folks. Didn't want to hi-jack the thread.
No problem here. Thanks.
While speaking of fixing things, after 2 surgeries and 8 Chemo treatments my wife is Cancer free. God is good.
Wish I could go too. Although I don't know the man being remembered I hope it turns out to be a memorable event for all who do. I lived in Mount Storm, WVA when I was young. 1946-1952 I suppose.
You've got bragging rights! Congratulations!
I have the same problem with my computer chair soooooooo I wind up playing Mandolin a lot at my desk.
Children! Children! Go to your rooms!
We jam 2 or 3 nights a week and space gets limited at some circles. That's when I use my Nook instead of a big ole songbook. At 70 remembering the words-well it has to be a song I like very very much.
My son has one and several nice guitars. I have to play it a little each time I go over there. They say they sound even better if you buy strings for a 12 string and use the smaller strings for the banjo and the larger strings on a guitar.
I remember him and his music. I never was a real fan but hate to hear of his passing. If I remember correctly he was once a postman possibly in Shreveport, La. 30 miles down the road from me.
I have a FG750s from the mid 70s that I love.
Mandolin standard tuning is GDAE G is the largest in diameter or top strings.
While your resting check this site out. You may see some folks you know.
Hoping all heals well and this will do the trick!
and let someone have a problem and watch the prayers and well wishes flow!!
