i know im late to the subject but i wanted to play since i was a kid a great guitar allways stired somthing in me i started a little over 1 year ago a friend sold me a gibson and a small amp for $100 and showed me a easy riff and ive been hooked from there im no good at it but i try hard and have fun with it i still cant play a whole song lol

im no guitar player but im trying been trying for just over 1 year i have problems on the neck eg... moving from say 9th fret area to 5th or 3rd fret area acuratly usually i end up on the wrong string or wrong fret all together ne 1 got a sugestion,good excersise, or tip to help ?
