In my shop class When you walk in with a pencil..It never comes out

It just disappears like my picks!...except they never reappear.

Thanks for sharing that piece!

Oh jeez I lose a ton of picks and I have no idea where they go...then one day they literally just appear on my bedroom floor or something.

When I'm not playing guitar I'm drawing...I wish I had more time to do both but I'm TRAPPED all day long in school...sometimes I wonder how much better I'd be at guitar and drawing if I didn't have to waste so much time at school.

"Cause it's a bittersweet
symphony, this life.
Trying to make ends meet
You're a slave to money then you die."
from Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve

I like it..cause it's so depressingly true.

Try not to learn songs that people tell you are easy, or you think will be easy.
Learn songs that you like-even if they are hard, you will be more motivated to play it, and will lear at a faster rate.

Learn really cool songs that people aren't too familiar with...that way they won't be comparing your sound with what they hear on the radio.

In Bloom-Nirvana
Jane Says-Jane's Addiction

Learn a couple basic chords; G, E, Em, C, D, Dm, A, Am, A7, G7....That'll really help you out, and you'll start picking up on the chords you hear in songs.

What really helps me get better is just sitting down for an hour and trying to figure the song out the best i can, then i go and look up the tabs and chords

Nirvana uses a lot of power chords

The Chocolate Watchband did a cover of it...i listen to it often on Pandora.

Nirvana

Umm I'm not sure if you get into this kinda stuff but

Nirvana songs are fairly easy, and often sound complicated.

I have a Westone Spectrum ST in red, made in 1986. It sounds awesome and the neck is so comfortable to play on.
