The first full song i would like to learn is Stay by Sugarland. I know the chords to it but i cant figure out the strumming pattern. Can anybody help me out there? Oh and i dont understand how when your strumming you transverse over into the next chord without stopping. That always confuses me.

Hey im kinda new to the guitar. Ive had one for awhile and have taught myself to pick out tunes from tab and i know a few chords like G, C, D, A, Am, E, Em and Dm. I can't do bar chords. And i don't know how to strum. I'm really interested in learning to play because when i pick my guitar up and play what i know i'm in a different world. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.
