Thanks Stonebridge,just the info I need.
I have just fitted some Martin 80/20 extra light strings,sounds pretty good.
Will have to change bridge position like you said and re-tune.
Will be down your way end of the month,camping at Llanthony.

Hi
Can anyone help with the positioning of the bridge on this particular guitar,I have just purchased it for £15,it is an older style Lindo where the strings come to a metal end bracket and also has this movable bridge,if it is where the marks on the top of the guitar is,I get the bass strings buzz against the frets,I have to move the bridge forward quite a bit to cure this,also no truss rod to adjust,any ideas welcome.

Hi,just joined
Managed to buy a 'Lindo' travel guitar for £15 from a charity shop,requires a set of string's and tidy up.
This one seems an older model as the neck width at the 1st fret is only 45cm.
also bridge end different style.
