I have been a nurse for 20 years and almost all of our measurements is metric ml.,cc, et al.there are 2o drops to the cc ,ml,and 30 ml/cc to the ounce and a liter is bigger than a quart and a kilo is 2.2 lbs. 3.89(?) liter is almost a gallon but 4 quarts is a gallon , Bluebell ice cream is still exactly 1/2 gallon to the container, and a pint is just about enuff for desert.
and yes I own two sets of wrenches ,and they both work on most cars ,especially Fords.you have metric and standard sizes all mixed in on the older modles. That is why the arms industry is so messed up bullets used to be measured in thousndths now it is in mm not cm.,and thats why I shoot a long bow.a lot easier to get stuff for it than a gun.

I bought a Garrison about 5 years ago  ,made in Newfoundland,or Canada  ,,up north,,, took those bridge cables off and put on a set of 9's or 10's and WOW does she sing ,some flat tops just dont like a heavy guage string, mine dont buzz, rattle or have any dead spots on the neck .and the tone is absolutely beautiful..And keep your eye on Pawnshops, garage sales, resale shops and those little freebie news papers like thrifty nickle or what ever ya'll have up there ,and pick up the guitar and play it,never buy sight un-seen.

I have never had a problem wit "B",  course I gots them honkin big meat hooks too.(size 12 wedding band) .the only time I have trouble is down below the 9th or 10th fret where you get into the odd ball chords like Q#m9th dim13&1/3.My fingers is just too honkin big for the littlebitty fancy chords and notes. Now if I had fingers like ET I MIGHT have a bit of a problem.

Baree chords is fun some of the first ones my dad taught me back when I had all my hair, and it was black and my teeth stayed in my mouth at night ,not in a glass on the nightstand.Oh  and it is a lot easier for me to build "A" with one finger not 3,,aint enuff room in the house down there. From tip of pinkey finger to tip of thumb measures an even 9 1/2 inches.and I am right handed ,that was my left hand measurement.,

Ok  Where can I get information ect ,.for getting a 3 bridge saddle for my MIM FSR ash tele? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankd,David.

From what the guys at GC told me ,you can run 8 ohm into a 16 ohm cab  but not into a 4 ohm cab.luckily my Ibanez is 4/16-4/12 cab and my Blues Jr. is 8 ohm so I run throught the 16 ohm side,,WOW that 15 wat amp is LOUD!!!!!!.go from 1-12 to 4-12's and you best have your suspenders on as well as your belt . And I have a 100 wat.Marshall mg head that goes with the 4-12 cab,so I think I got enuff toys for now,,,,,,hummm phase ped,wah ped, mmmm 10 slide EQ,,, OK Dave  stop it.

When My dad taught me to play many years back(moses was reading the blue-prints) he taught me to biuld A with jusy one finger(index) because I have "carpenters fingers"sorta thick and WAYYY to strong. I have the problem of overpowering the neck and squeezing everything sharp so "improvise" I found I can play gad ebb7 long a and some of the other stretchable chords easily and now with the new tele and droping ALL my string guages down to 9's I'm not choking the neck todeath any more and still getting good clean sharp tones and notes.never could play banjo or mandoline becayse of my meat hoohs ,but I prefer thin skinny necks over the chunkey ones.and bare chords have never been a problem, just rembering all them dadblasted names and where they are..BTW I wear a size 12 wedding ring so that should hive you all an idea of what I got to work with

Thanks  that helped me a lot ,mostly sit and play by ear or nose if I forget my glasses, gotta sniff them odd ones out, didnt realize I'd been out of it that long.last "band" I actualy played in was dang near 25 years ago and we all knew what the other was going to do just by glancing over at the drummer. If he had out his brushes it was a waltze tympanys  soft rock or sticks  get it .We had played together for about 6-8 years so it was easy .once again  thanks.

I try to play guitar, usualy in Church on Sundays or when I have time , been learning since I was 12 and will be 57 tomorrow,so still workin at it.
I am in central Texas just a tad South and maybe a touch East of Waco and South of Corsicana, 25 miles from just about anywhere.Little town of Dawson, well actualt between Dawson and Hubbard. Some where between Willie Nelson and Billie Joe Shaver.
Anyhoo just wanted to stop in and say HOWDY to all of ya on here.
