I like your man cave.  Wood for resonance.  Fly tying rigamarole.  Guitars all over the walls.  That's hard to beat.  Awful hard to beat.

Totally agree, and envious, my "man cave" comprises about 10 sq feet of the lounge room, and as Mrs TT is into everything being in their place, ah well, the price of love.....

Definitely envious of the "man cave " my space is about 10sq feet as well which gets invaded by the missus and grandkids !!! need a win on the lotto to get a bigger house !!

I'm soooooo glad I live in the UK (where computing is concerned). I thought our telecommunication networks were money grabbing fat cats, seems like US ones are even worse.

FYI; I bought a new 7 inch tab Monday, had a hell of a bargain, full cost £119.00, but with Tesco vouchers it only cost me £9 !!!!! brill! When I got it home I couldn't get it linked up to my wireless network. I was on the brink of taking it back when I realised I'd miss read one letter of the network key, it took me two pairs of glasses to be able to see it right, but everythings working great now.

Anyone know if Hudl's come with anti virus, or do I need to down load one?

Great deal phil , nice to get get something back from the big companies , avg do a good free anti virus for tabs and mobiles

Been learning a couple of songs that involves slapping the strings to give a percussive sound , struggling a bit with it I seem to only be able to do it using the outside of my fingers on a downward strum but have seem some tutorials saying to use the palmof the hand , is there a correct way for this or is it just what you find the easiest

If you been only strumming a few months, that is fantastic.
took me years to get to that standard.

I think most of ther good places are on youtube.  but if you are tired of it, there are many other places such as chordie and others.  How new are you?  Do you want to learn chords or what?  Do you sing.  I still think the best way is to find a song you like and learn the chords then keep practicing it.  It is always a lot easier then to watch someone else play it.  What kind of music do you like?  How old are you.  Go to the other forum and introduce yourself and tell us what you like.

I agree totally some of the online tutorials can be helpful but find a lot of them so confusing ,i think best way is to learn 4 or 5 of the easier chords find an easyish song and keep practising

Justinguitar.com is a good one.  Marty Schwartz's page is a good one too.  guitarjamz.com   Erich Andreas also has good on-line lessons.  I can't remember the name of his site right now for some reason.

If you like old time country and folk music, there are a number of specialized sites for that.  Google is your friend.

isn`t his site something like yourguitarsage.com ?
