I'm taking precautions just in case we all get taken by surprise and suddenly find chordie is gone. (Hope not, awesome site, can't wait for edit feature to return!)
Anyway, IMNSHO, Songsheet Generator is the hands down winner when it comes to generating tabs.
You start with a plain-text file within the chordpro format (just like here at chordie!). Once saved to a folder, SG can display it, and you have many options regarding transposing, printing, viewing on screen, generating a new chordpro formatted document, generating an html file, etc.
It is freeware, but if you like it, you can donate (I chose to, it was worth that much to me).
Anyway, just another idea in case anyone is looking for an alternative or backup plan to chordie.
oh yeah, works with Mac, Windows or Linux.
