Brother Jukebox

Mark Chesnutt

Brother  Junkbox, [F} Sister  Wine

Mother Freedom    Father   Time

Since you left me,   by my--- self

you're the  only  family  that I have  left

Verse 1

I go  down to the   same old  cafe

where I try to wash   my troubles  away

I'm still  down, but I'm  still all  alone

but it   beats staying  home all night  long

I go  home and I  climb that old  stairway

and I tell myself  tomorrow's a  new day

But I  know that i'll just  go down a-  gain

and spend my  time with my  new next of  kin

the chords shown will play the song in the actual recorded key if you place a capo on the first fret, because the song(on the Mark Chesnut album) is in the key of C#. But, if you listen CLOSELY it still won't sound quite right and picking the country riffs will be awkward also. This is because their guitar is TUNED DOWN 1/2 step and then played using the popular chord "forms" D,A,Bm and G. Hammering your pinky on the 4th fret,4th &5th strings catches the twangy notes you'll want to mix in as you play along. try it-you'll like it!
