E|-----------------------------------------------------------------|

NOTE: Listen carefully to the song. You will hear the way
this sounds. I tried to tab it out to make it easy to
play as chords arranged for guitar instead of guitar
and Bass guitar. One guitarist can play this as it is
just a bass run when switching from the G chord to
the A chord. Mainly, listen and you will be able to
do it. When you see the G* play the run.

G* A G*

                E --3-----------------3------------|
                B ---------------2-----------------|
                G ---------------2-----------------|
                D ---------------2-----------------|
                A --2--------0--------2---------0--|
                E --3--0--3-----------3---0--3-----|

At the start of the song sounds like the 1st Bass note is E,
but the 2nd Guitar is playing an Em

Instead of Amaj for the verse phrasing use Am;

and after the walkup the progression is

C Am Dm G (I don't think there's an F chord in there)

Great song from John Cafferty
