Topic: CRUSH

Dirty Blues with Chuck Berry type power chords, starting in D to C and back toDand backto C and then A and let it flow from there.

This is not for the faint of heart, its a Stripper song!

Crush
Written on a impulse on  9/22 at 1145 PM while thinking of all the great heavy stripper songs and sleazy joints I have been in, its almost autobiographical in that a lot of it comes from me b4 I got married.

CRUSH!   Now baby 1 2 3
CRUSH!   Now honey come with me
I wanna see you
                              CRUSHING ME!

Standing,  with dollars in my hand, YA
Waiting for you to come to me
At the runway, I'm standing
                                                for what you're handing

CRUSH!
I wanna feel your
CRUSH!
I wanna feel your
CRUSH!

Getting drunk , sitting watching you
Watching, as you 're working the  tables,
I only got $20 left, no VIP tonight
SO...

CRUSH!
I wanna feel your
CRUSH!
I wanna feel your
CRUSH!

CRUSH!   Now baby 1 2 3
CRUSH!   Now honey come with me
I wanna see you
                              CRUSHING ME!

killer ad lib solos  and heavy outro jam!

Yea, think 80s  sunset strip LA Guns and Crue LOLOL
You bang out the D5 for each time you say CRUSH and let ring for a sec or so then do the bluesy thing with your pinky, and same for the C5 . still working out the finer elements. and I dont play  lead lol.

Couldnt really get into it at midnight even if I was in the basement.  was writing on my new TAK.
If you don't know LA guns here is a general type feel I was shooting for , these lyrics  are pretty bad, but its the guitar riff feel   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQbNdM68IBk

LA Guns first 3 records are great though!

LOL yea welllllll,,,, actually this afternoon, I was jamming it, my son was working out a drum pattern (first time we have tried this, and he was really great with his ideas) and my playing took on a totally different vibe. better than I thought, we also changed it to E and D. for the main stuff and maybe to B.  Ill try and record us practicing tomorrow b4 I leave for work.

Listening to innovative ideas form children - what a concept!

My kids and the kids I teach and coach keep teaching me stuff all the time.

Way to go Beamer- love that you and son have a shared passion - great bonds that rarely break!
