I got a webcam this week so I decided to give this a quick video record. No editing, just me playing and singing at my computer.

I read about a young man who was a troubled youth and wanted out of the small town he grew up in. This song is about wanting something, not sure what you want and getting more than you were prepared for. Most of us have moments where we want and haven't thought out our wishes.

Sad but true story song for too many young Americans. Sorry he lost his life, but I'm glad he turned his life around. Makes you wonder what he would have done if he had made it back home alive. I believe he would have been a better citizen, but I guess we'll never know for sure. Well written song Jim.

Jets: Thanks for the reply! Sometimes a news story or something I have read just prompts me to say that should be in some lyrics. Still learning, but having agreat time with all of this. Dino, Unlike the great guy Benson Pete, I have not gravitated to You Tube. I think it has been enough so far to inflict my playing and singing on the world without having them have to stare at my mug as well. There is a link to a soundclick audio file if you missed it. bv I think you would get alot of subscribers at utube,most of the others have something up there. I have an account but I am waiting till I can find a suatable song with no singing as I can not sing well.

thanks Joe and Daddycool, I am having a lot of fun with this music stuff. I have met some great folks here on Chordie that allow me to test the waters in ways I never dreamed I would when I started this whole thing a couple of years ago. Your comments are appreciated.
