STONED( think i would talk this over a couple of chords)
you no i`m kinda new to this music stuff
got an old guitar in the garage
had some spare time lately so thought i`d dig it out
Wanna be a rock star!
So read up on rock stars
Lots about  picking up chicks
And plenty about drugs
even read a bit about music
sounds like fun
so i took my old 3 sting guitar
downtown to do some busking
it didn`t go too well
the music was rubbish
1 chord just didn`t impress
but on the up side
i did get stoned
can`t see why rock stars like this so much
when i get rid of the scratches and bruises
gonna go out busking again

I have some memories from the distant past that echo your lines. At least I think they're memories ... can't seem to recall.

Brian another great one, you can also do this as a blues tune if you slow it up and use some b7,a7e7.

Just a comment on the lyric "1 chord just didn't impress".....

Wasn't it Richie Havens who only played only one chord when he sang?

Used the guitar mainly for a rhythm instrument?

I think I read that in Accoustic Guitar at one time or another.

And oh yeah, I agree: A Talkin' Blues would sound great, and Dino: Great idea, buddy! smile
