Topic: Types of Spam

They're at it again ... sheesh!

If the claims of all these idiots were true, we'd all live to be 150, have smooth skin until death, and be as virile as rabbits. Chordiestock 2117 is just around the corner ... plan ahead.

Re: Types of Spam

If the spammers really believe what they post they are dumber as what they post.  On another site we checked their address before they became members. It worked about 90 % of the time. That was not bad considering how many we get. The moderators do a great job getting them banned  quickly.

Thanks for the link Richard,  I'm not sure if we have tried this earlier, or if it was a problem performing properly with our kind of "customized" Chordie Version.  Will check it out though.

Probably depends on the version your running ... one trick I used in the past was to have a hidden field on the page, named something like "description", robots will automatically fill in a form with "known" details - so if this field has a value, it's a robot, as people viewing the page can't see it ...
