Glue Gun

Glue Gun (formerly known as Glü Gun) is an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California.

The band started in 1991 under the name Glü Gun after singer Bob Oedy's previous band project The Grim dissolved in 1989. Other members were Jeff Roberts (guitars), Chris Long (guitars), Pete Newbury (bass) and Jeff Edwards (drums) and signed a deal with Posh Boy Records (label owned by Social Distortion's Mike Ness) in 1993. They released their first album Just Glü It in 1994; the album was not successful. Soon after, the band's name Glü Gun was changed to their current name Glue Gun.

In 1995, Glue Gun regrouped and added three new band members George Snow (guitars), John North (bass) and Jody Kern (drums). Oedy and Roberts were the only two remaining members. They released their second album The Scene Is Not for Sale in 1996 and is sometimes considered to be a critically acclaimed album.
