His self-released album ''Beer, Bait and Ammo'' (2000) sold 30,000 copies and was played heavily on Texas radio stations, particularly the title track. His third album, ''High on the Hog'', featured Willie Nelson. A later album, ''Loose, Loud & Crazy'' (2004), was released on Equity Records, a label co-founded by Clint Black.
