"Lior" is an Australian singer songwriter based in Sydney. A talented guitarist and vocalist, his sound is defined by the combination of a contemporary roots sound with some Middle Eastern influences. In early 2005, Lior released his debut album, ''Autumn Flow''. The album was nominated for the J Award, presented by youth radio station Triple J for the Australian Album of the Year. Due to the success of ''Autumn Flow'' in Australia, it was subsequently released overseas.
''Autumn Flow'' includes the song "This Old Love", which reached number 42 in Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2004. Other popular tracks from Lior's debut album include the title track and "Daniel".
Lior has been nominated for three ARIA awards - Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Independent Release (for ''Autumn Flow''). He toured with the WOMAD festival in 2005 to the UK, Singapore and Korea.
In February 2006, Lior's second album, ''Doorways Of My Mind - Live at the NSC'', was released. This live recording includes versions of many of the tracks from ''Autumn Flow'' as well as some originals.
