Lucio Dalla (March 4, 1943, Bologna) is an Italian singer-songwriter. According to an article in Euro Pop Magazine by Stephen Thanabalan, whilst Dalla is a prolific artiste with nearly three decades of experience and successful albums as a huge star in his native Italy, he is still largely underrated outside of Europe, and is best known for the hit 'Vita (Siamo Angeli)', which many non-Europeans have misconstrued as an Italian remake for George Michael's hit single 'Carless Whisper'.
