The band Mephisto Walz was formed in 1985 and have an accomplished and prolific discography, having released several full-length albums over years. Many of their albums have received high acclaim from the gothic community and stand as early monuments to the movement and while constantly evolving, still retain an original sound that harkens back to the early days of Deathrock and gothic rock music.
