David Lee Murphy

David Lee Murphy (born January 7, 1959) is a country music singer who moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1983. He struggled for ten years and finally signed with MCA records in 1992. He was nominated for Top New Male Vocalist of the year in 1995 by the Academy of Country Music.

Two of his biggest hits are "Party Crowd" and "Dust On The Bottle", both of which are on his 1994 album Out With a Bang. "Party Crowd" was the most played song on Country music radio in 1995.

In 2002 he had another hit called "Road You Leave Behind" from the album Getting out the Good Stuff. This album was not as successful as Out With a Bang.
