The Sounds

"The Sounds" is a band from Helsingborg, Skåne County, Sweden founded in 1999. Their biggest hits include "Hit Me!," "Living in America," and "Tony the Beat (Push It)."

Their song "Seven Days a Week" from the ''Living in America'' album was featured on the FIFA 2005 football game for Nintendo GameCube, Sony Playstation 2 and Xbox. "Living in America" was also featured in the movie ''Final Destination 2'' along with their song "Rock 'n Roll" (both songs are on the ''Living in America'' album). They released a second album ''Dying to Say This to You'' on March 21st, 2006. Continuing the expansion of indie rock and electro, the song ''Running Out of Turbo'' was featured on the episode ''Free Fall'' on CSI: Miami. Their song, "Rock'n Roll" was featured on Viva La Bands.

Lead singer Maja Ivarsson was also featured on Cobra Starship's ''Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)'', for the upcoming film ''Snakes on a Plane''.
