Too Late  Goldfinger

Written by John Feldman
This is another kick-ass Goldfinger song. I did this as a request, and
I'm taking any you have off of Hang-ups, or from other cool ska-punk
bands. Anyways, enjoy this one:
[Intro]: feedback
[Verse]:

 E-------------------
 B-------------------
 G---7-------4-------
 D---7---7---4---4---
 A---5---7---2---4---
 E-------5-------2---

[D] [A] [B] [F#]
[D]The young boy has [A]turned into a [B]man, and he's growing
[F#]stronger. [D]He's battled through [A]things he thought he [B]could go
on no [F#]longer.
[Bridge]:

 E---------------------------------------------

 E-------3---0---1----------------3---0--------

[C] [G] [E] [F] [C] [G] [E] [Fii]
[C]The father stood [G]by his side, [E]wanting nothing [F]more than just
be his d[C]ad. But pride only a[G]nswers to one c[E]all, he only
con[Fii]demns him.
[1st Cborus]: (starts out bass only!)
*Played during chorus:

 D-------

[A--5b---]

 E-------

And if the boy only knew his father's pain. The nights that
he stayed up late, wondered why. Doesn't he see the future
is so [D]bleak [C]so [G]bleak.
Solo:

[Verse]:
[D]Father's re[A]tired now,[B] he's left with TV and [F#]rest. [D]The weight
of the [A]world and what did he do [B]wrong, has gone to his
[F#]chest.
[Bridge]:
[C]He had[G] such a good life. [E]The family he [F]loved were all by his
side.[C] To his [G]son he whispered, &[E]quot;Goddamn [F]this pride."
