Oh Lonesome Me2  Don Gibson

[D]Ev'ry body's goin' out and hav[A]ing' fun
I'm just a fool for stayin' home and h[D]avin' none
[D]I can't get over how [D7]she set me [G]free
[A]Oh lonesome me[D]
[D]A bad mistake I'm makin' by just ha[A]ngin' round
I know that I should have some fun and p[D]aint the town
[D]A love sick fool that' bl[D7]ind and just can'[G]t see
[A]Oh, lonesome me[D]
Well, I'll [A]bet she's not like me, she's o[E]ut and fancy free
Flirting with the boys with all her[A] charms
But, I s[E]till love her so
And brother, don't you know
I'd welcome her right back here in my arms[A]
Well, there mu[D]st be some way I can lose these lo[A]nesome blues
Forget about the past and find som[D]ebody new
I've thought of ev'ry th[D7]ing from A to Z[G]
[A]Oh, lonesome me[D]
Well, I'll b[A]et she's not like me, she's o[E]ut and fancy free
Flirting with the boys with all her[A] charms
But, I s[E]till love her so
And brother, don't you know
I'd welcome her right back her in my arms[A]
Well, there mus[D]t be some way I can lose these lonesome blu[A]es
Forget about the past and find som[D]ebody new
I've thought of ev'ry th[D7]ing from A to Z[G]
[A]Oh lonesome me [D]
[A]Oh lonesome me[D]

Good basic lead sheet. It can be spiced up a bit play playing A7 just before transitioning to the D chords. Easy way to make you sound fancy.
