Hi Jim,
As far as I know there is no way that Chordie can alter your printer settings. You should be able to to click on 'File' to the top left of your browser and select 'Page Setup' to select your margins. If this does not work for I do not know what else to suggest.
It is not an issue for me as I buy a book with clear A4 envelopes in to keep my printed song sheets and it may be better if you do so too. I found that the paper soon tears around the punched holes but it keeps forever in a clear envelope.

Long A - (2nd Fret) index finger BARRE D..G..B strings - (4TH Fret)pinkey finger E string.
Move up 2 frets and you got a "Long G". One more fret and you got a "Long B"
Who woulda thunkit?
Nela
Surely 'A' taken up two semitones becomes 'B' and up one more becomes 'C' ??????? At least it did when I went to school back in the Stone Age

Sorry I did not look any further than accessing the Forum when I had trouble logging in. It appears it is the Songs/Songbook that is the problem from the error message, Per will sort this as soon as he can, so please be patient.
Roger
If anyone is coming up with an error message and unable to access Chordie when logged in then try logging in from the Forum page and not the home page. It works for me.
I have contacted Per and let him know so he can check it out.

Hi QB and welcome to Chordie,
I am afraid that the answer to your question is "You Can't". However if you read through the thread that SouthPaw directed you to, the last post give a link to a 'workaround' for the editing of songs.
Roger
Hi Toney,
What a tragedy to be taken so young. Shawn had so much going for him that everyone around him, most especially his family, will be devastated.
It certainly will not be a an easy gig but I am sure that you will be a credit to his creativity.
Tears, by the way, are not a sign of a sissyfied pansy but of someone with empathy and a heart.
Sincere condolances to all who knew him.
Roger
After an e-mail from Edwin I am now cofident that this was no more than an oversight on his part and a genuine effort to help others by posting the corrected chords to this song.
Edwin, welcome to Chordie, please enjoy site and feel free to participate in any of the discussions. However, and this applies to all newbies, please read the 'Stickys' at the start of each section for help and guidance.
Roger
Many new Members post messages without first reading the information in the 'Sticky's' and the 'Resources' and, however well intentioned their help, it is illegal to post copyright material on Chordie so their action puts Chordie at risk. Copyright material is always removed.
Cordie is a search engine and does not host any of the songs. They are found at other sites on the internet but the way they are presented is so seamless that it is easy to not realise this.

papaguitar wrote:Hey Bensonp, Lots of great songs here. I don't have a link for this one but how about " Just Bummin Around " written
by Pete Graves. Btw he lives about a 1/2 hr from me and I've been lucky enough to play music with him over
the years here and there.
Hi Mike,
Although written by Pete Graves it was recorded by Dean Martin in 1967. Here is a more recent recording of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZpj4tr2 … re=related

Hi Sean,
As Pete has already stated changing the password to something you can remember is easy and you can do it yourself.
You cannot change your username but I can, however this has one big drawback, you will loose any Songbooks you have. If Songbooks are not an issue please write to me privately and i will make the change for you.

This was my late father's favourite singer and song. From 1955, Ruby Murray with 'Softly Softly': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnClIipU … re=related

Hi Donnie and welcome to Chordie,
When you open the list of songs you will see "Showing All Songs change" at the top right. Click on "change" where you can select what you want to display.

Thanks for that one Helena. I have not heard it for quite a while and it also reminded be of a similar titled number by The Hollies - Gasoline Alley Bred: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFAS1RcY … re=related

Hi Freduki and welcome to Chordie,
Sorry to hear of your problem and although I do not know how to overcome it I spoke to Per, the Webmaster, and he is of the opinion that utf-8 should work. However ensure that your browser is set for utf-8 as this may not happen automatically. He did also add that there are some issues in the encoding and I am sure he will look into it as soon as he has the opportunity.
I hope that sorts it out for you as I have absolutely no idea what I have asked you to do

Remenber 2 things for the treble stave (USA staff):
1/ Every Good Boy Deserves Favour - the notes on the lines
2/ F A C E - the notes in the spaces
Roger
I assume that you have not had the same strings on for three years so I do not think it is the strings per se, but it may be the way you are fitting them. If there is a lot of string wrapped aroud the machine head post then this can slip slightly causing the guitar to go out of tune, also the windings should go towards the wood of the guitar to keep them tight in the nut grooves. The other possibility is if the guitar had a tremlo arm as these can wear or become loose and cause the guitar to out of tune when used. Just some ideas that I hope will help.

Here is one of my favourite valentine's songs so on this 'Dia dos Namorados' this is for all young lovers and those not so young too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQv_G7Xg … re=related

Hi Hannah,
It all stems from having many Members like yourself on board. People who are willing to share their knowledge and skills to help others for nothing more than the satisfaction of doing a good turn.
Three cheers for Chordie Members!!

Hi Ajayuke and welcome to Chordie,
I use, and always have used, Internet Explorer; my screen resolution is 1280x1024 and I have no problems with the chord grids being covered. It is obviously a localised problem otherwise many others would have the same thing, as Topdown has suggested to Soulman try different screen resolutions to try to resolve this.

Hey Amy,
You have just reminded me; a million years ago when I was a child, my mother used to give my brother and I tomato sandwiches with sugar on them as it was the only way we would eat them. I think I will have that for my tea today and reminisce.
Chevo,
The pineapple and tomato jam sounds good. If you obtain the recipe please post it and I hay try my hand at making some.
Mike,
I will take a raincheck on the jalapeneo jelly. Although I have a very sweet tooth I have an intense diskile for anything spicy or hot but I am sure it will apeal to many others.
Roger
OK this I found so weird that I had to share.
I like tomatoes, they are great in salads, also sauces for pasta and adding to dishes and even to make baked beans more palatable but I found tomatoes used in a way that I would never have thought possible. Tomato jam (or jelly for my American and Canadian friends) "doce de tomate" in Portuguese.
I just had to buy a jar to try it and, although I had some doubts, I found that I really enjoyed it - suits my sweet tooth.
I wonder if anyone else has tried this or anything else that is out of the ordinary.
Roger
Hi Debbie and welcome to Chordie,
Let me answer your first question, the easiest one, of course
If you go into the Songwriting section and look at the 'Sticky' titled "How to Post Original Song to Songwriting Forum!" you will find James's explanation of using chopro.
