At 15 cents (anyone miss that symbol on their keyboard? I do!)
You mean this one? ¢ ![]()
I need to ask a favor from everyone going. I need help playing a joke on Chris. Nothing mean or dirty. She will know right away that it was my idea.
Me thinks you may need to go into a little more detail. ![]()
I still say I'd love to see that Falcon pull into Amy's driveway. ![]()
Yep. Only 3 weeks away.
Like Amy, I'm looking forward to forgetting about everything else for a weekend. Haven't done much of that yet this year.
You people that can do this amaze me.
Really cool! When are you going to set it to music?
I will watch for the announcement. There is a FHC event 20 minutes. from me the 1st part of Oct. Fingers crossed that both events don't fall on the same weekend.
I'll make a post in the "Any Musicians" thread over there too.

You don`t appreciate how comfortable and better handling modern cars are until you drive an old one...
I can somewhat relate. I drive a Ford F700 everyday for work. I would imagine that Falcoon doesn't handle a whole lot better. But I at least have PS in the truck. It does make me appreciate jumping in the Camry at the end of the day.
You know......If you roll down that back window it's as good as AC.
OK maybe not but it's a really cool feature. What year is it? '62-63?
I'm working on songs from Bob Wier's latest album Blue Mountain. Working on Only a River and One more River to Cross.
I didn't care much for Blue Mountain the first time I heard it. But I throw it in the player now and then and it's starting to grow on me.
Very cool!!
I think you should bring it to NY next month. ![]()
I've been working on Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls.
It's about time. Should have happened years ago.
You know I'm in.
Unfortunately, the date conflicts with my vacation plans. I am still looking forward to my first Chordie gathering.
October in Pa will be here before you know it.
Tentatively the weekend of the 7th but we'll firm that up after I get back from NY.
Guilty as charged.
My busy season starts usually in April. I try to stop in here in the morning before I leave. By evening I'm drained and in bed by 10:00 most of the time. I just don't spend a lot of time on the computer this time of year. It's 8:30 now and I hear Mr Sandman calling already.
KIR - So sorry to hear that. My condolences on your loss.
Great job!
Some time ago I considered buying a kit and building one. It never happened and I don't see it ever happening.
Any chance you could post a few pics so we can all see it?
If I were to assemble this list in a week's time, it could be quite different.
Scott and I started to video record everything we do about 1.5 years ago. After posting in this thread I decided to go back and look at some of the older stuff. There are some that we've only done once or twice, some that pop up periodically and others that are part of our standard rotation. The ones I listed above are pretty much regulars.
My opening song is very often 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.
And you do it beautifully. I heard it in NY a couple years ago. ![]()
I don't have a problem with the chords being printed for just the first verse and chorus. It forces me to learn the progression. I'll play the first verse and chorus over and over until I don't have to think about it anymore. Then I apply it to the rest of the song.
I know not everyone feels the same way but when I go to learn a song, I want to learn it. I don't want a book (or the electronic equivalent) in front of me all the time.
But hey, that's just my own personal pet peeve and it only applies to me.
Boy, this is a tough one. There are so many and it changes from week to week.
City of New Orleans- Steve Goodman
Down on the Corner- CCR
Bright Side of the Road- Van Morrison
El Paso- Marty Robbins
Mama Tried- Merle Haggard
Me and My Uncle- John Phillips( Mama's and the Papa's)

I think I have 30-35 songs I know now. A huge leap from my first trip to Amy's in 2015.
Phill did a cover on this - I put it on soundcloud - hope you will give it a visit

TF, I sure wish words would flow out of me the way they do for you.
Beautiful.
I can't imagine a worse situation.
Warm thoughts and best wishes in this trying time Bill.
That comes shortly after Amy's in August and right before mine in October. On top of that September is really busy month for me work-wise.
Don't see me being able to make it.
Happy Birthday Jeff!
