That was really cool. It amazes me how someone can take a song and play it so different from someone else- a completely different genre and approach to the same lyric.
I could never play guitar as you did, so I appreciate the " metalized version" - so cool. I agree with Graham - I hear a little Lou Reed in there - but I don't know who iggy pop is so I can't comment on that. I liked the picture you put with it on soundcloud too - fits perfectly.

Yep he was only 29 had 35 singles mostly hits
His down fall - alcohol and prescription drugs - pretty much the same nemesis of many stars today !
Died of a heart attack - exasperated by the pills and booze - such a shame, such a waste of a talented life
I do like his songs though - he was very creative.

They are just excellent !
Guitar is incredible, but rest of players are not far behind. It is a fantastic melding of musical talent and performing. The ability to inject just the perfect amount of each instrument, with precise fusion, and at exactly the right moment is superlative! The voice of the singer reminds me of Bonnie Raitt.
Thanks for sharing this --- I REALLY enjoyed this ! They have a bunch of other great songs as well.
