I hear ABC is considering a late night spot the same time as Jay Leno and David Letterman for Conan but from what I read on Road Runner he cant do anything till September BUT that clause could be circumnavigated by his lawyers and money ![]()

Re: Welcome to insomniac theatre. (5 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Zurf putting a capo on and playing an open C chord or any open chord can be figured out like this without a capo its an open C if you capo the 1st fret its a C# or Db 2nd fret its a D 3rd fret is a D# or Eb and so on it just accends the scale in half steps the same as your frets so a capo on the third fret open C G Am is D# Cm A#
I found a couple decent spots where it helps the transition from G to Am or from C to G. Those changes happen a lot in the song, so it's easy to overdo the hammer ons. Fleetwood Mac uses a capo on 3 with those chords, but I put it on 1, so I have no idea what chords are really being played, but I'm fingering C, G, and Am. I guess that makes it C 1/2, G 1/2, and Am 1/2.

Zurf I applaud your quest for increased knowledge for improvement keep in mind I put in over 10 years of my life several hours everyday practicing to make what I do look easy and effortless and a phrase from the writings of Desiderata comes to mind "enjoy your achievements as well as your plans for always there will be greater and lesser persons then yourself keep interested in your own career however humble it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time" and PRACTICE!!!!! good on ya ![]()

thank you MkM most (including myself) do not know the lyrics I found the song on Chordie's index but the chords left a lot to be desired so I arranged this, the guitar is capo-ed on the 4th fret and I use a C Am Dm F open G structures I have some new video software (3D merging) and I am looking forward to producing some new videos thanks again for your comments
Very nice Russell! I wanted to sing along... but all I know is the "you take the high road" part... ahhhh... refreshing and it was a pleasure to watch you play as well!

thanks for the correction
Nice one Russell, but just to be hyper-critical - it's Lomond.

top I hope your right on those picks being from Green bay I know the Cardinals were resting a few important personal namely Curt Warner but the way the Packers played it wouldn't have made that much difference in the outcome anyway, I think the Eagles and Cowboys game will be hard fought I do think Dallas will pull it out, dont know about the Jets at Cincinnati Ocho cinco could burn a few safeties and if Tom Brady is healthy even without Wesley Welker the Patriots could be a fight with a much improved Ravens team we shall see good luck to both our teams ![]()
