This is blitz chess not the kind where cobwebs grow waiting for your opponant to move a piece but fast action when with only 2 seconds left on your clock its possible to make 15 to 20 moves and win smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVHpBbZt … r_embedded

Dino most people think that chess is a hard game to learn the truth is that its really simple once you know how the pieces move and what the object of the game is,there are many sites on the internet that offer free help I am a member of chesscorner.net it dont cost money to be a guest and you get to play other members and they have lots of information for beginners and instructions so its easy to learn if someone has the time and the desire and learning how to read music is a lot harder then learning how to play chess smile

yes I have a mistress and her name is chess and she vies for my attention from my main love music if I do not compose or practice its because of her and music is jealous because of the attention and time I spend away from her,for the last few days I have been following the Tal Memorial tournament in Moscow held once a year in memory of Mikhail Tal a former world champion who passed away several years ago all the best players in the world gather to win this most prestigious prize, winner of the Tal Memorial, this year it was won by a 18 yr old genius from Norway Magnus Carlsen who is now the highest rated player in the world (2800+) and here is a glimpse of this phenom in action at the blitz tournament in Moscow smile

Hi Gerald,

Check out the d'Addario or Martin "Silk & Steel" strings. They're softer on your hands and have a more mellow tone.

Happy pickin'

Wyane understandable,as you say most folks will find this usefull and thats all that matters I just remember this from early guitar studies (Mel Bay 1) and have used it to find my way around progressions and to navigate thru with solos smile

An easy way to remember is there are 8 tones in a scale 2 3 & 6 are minor 1 4 & 5 are major and the 7th is diminished the 8th is the octave this formula can be applied to any key smile

Yes there are many trees but few are chosen for Gibson,I am not an endangered animal or plant person and to old to worry about the ozone layer or rouge comets smashing the earth to little pieces or lizards dying on some remote island the earth will replenish itself man may not be around to appreciate it tho smile

"fully cooperating" most likey because they got busted no sense in defusing a bomb after it has exploded, I suppose we should give them the benifit of doubt its not unusual for the top people to not know what the bottom half is doing something like "plausable ignorance" smile

The only thing I can think of is singing loud is like shouting if you wanted to say something to a person across the street you would speak louder then if they were standing next to you, your useing your diaphragm when you "raise your voice" the same is in singing think of it that way and you can sing soft or loud to express the feeling inside of you smile

Is there a way to save a tune from chordie to file, instead of printing it? Sometimes there are tunes that have allot of the same chorus repeated in print. I only need the one chorus, cause allot of times i would like the tune on just one page without having to shrink it down to nothing lol. I use the songs i print live in my church praise band and don't have time to be flipping multiple pages for one song. Any comments will be appreciated, thanks ahead of time.
see there is a way without printing once in your files you can transfer it to a jump drive and plug it in wherever smile

Doug I was going to use the top of a bottle but I couldnt cut the glass and all the medicine now comes in plastic glad you enjoyed it and it looks like you got the active x control fixed so you can view videos now chat later russ smile

Doug_Smith wrote:

Hey Russell,

I'm surprised you didn't just dig around in the back of your medicine cabinet and dump the contents of that old Coricidin bottle that we are old enough to still have hanging out in those dark recesses (for you younger folks, it was a cold symptom tablet sold in glass bottles that has been discontinued).  Used one of those for awhile until it got stuck on my finger and I tossed it.  But there is nothing that sings like glass for the weight.

  Nice Job Buddy!

Take Care;
Doug

Yes my lady its that thing on my finger I could put it on my other finger but it easier to use on my pinky because I can make chords that way thank you Helena smile

Thanks Zurf that song is one of my favorite Charlie Daniels songs yeah there have been a few nights and days on the honing trail, its a coincidence my guitar is a Hohner lol

Zurf wrote:

Nice.  Yeah, I'm sure it's the camera that has you and your guitar working together to sound good.  No years of practice or skill honed on a thousand nights in a thousand venues on your part.  It's probably the camera.  wink

I've always liked that song, and I'm a short haired flatlander FORMER country boy.
