Welcome Brooklin.  We're all beginners in this boat.

Oh, we know you'll be back with a good one soon or later Amy.  And if you don't, just chalk it up to the wisdom of the old farts.

I guess we can forgive her Phill.  She is too young to know what life is all about.

That just pisses me off Joey. It's not right

Old guy thread indeed Amy.

Can't wait to hear about it.

66 is a little old Roger.  I don't know bud.  Our bodies do tend to give up before our brains, don't they?

Glad to meet you Dave.  I don't know much about electric guitars.  I have been an acoustic lover for quite awhile.  It's nice to just be able to pick up the guitar and play and sing without having to worry about plugging in and what knob to adjust.  That's just my opinion.  We have severals electric players in the group.  I am sure they will chime in eventually.

You are probably right Nela.  Hell, I am 62 1/2  Just thought I would throw that in.

All great advice.  The trick is to stay hooked.  If you do that you will become a good player pretty fast.  We've all been through the exciting learning period, then quit for months or years, then pick it back up later.  I can vouch that this does not make you a great player.  Try to stick with it and practice every day.

Wishing you well. You'll probably play guitar better after the procedure.  At least strum a good beat.

I lived there in the  early 60's and never saw it snow.  That's odd, but it also snowed here in southern Utah last week.  About 6 inches.  That is also odd.

That's great Jeff.  I'm happy for you bud

I guess I should add a Gibson J45 to my list.  Or a Hummingbird

My next guitar will be a smaller bodied Martin I hope.  An acoustic-electric

Good luck Dave.  It takes time buddy.  Keep at it and practice a lot.  It will eventually get much easier to switch between chords.  Just try two or three chords at a time.

Glad to hear it buddy.  Now go to My Favorite Guitars located right there in you state and get you a nice Martin.  That's where I get all my guitars

Go for it Joey.  That's good to hear and your instruments appreciate it.
