Your Right Russell, I guess those Freshmen showed up to be Freshmen after all, it's hard to win when your main core of players are made up of Freshmen, though they were great Freshmen, but still Freshmen.

My Bluedevils are Back, Back in the Final Four, we just got a Bear in Texas, now were after that Mountaineer. Thanks guys for all the great Karma, it means so much to me.

Thanks again guys for all the good thoughts, We got by a nasty Purdue team, Baylor is next, we play them tomorrow "more good karma needed"

Russell, I have to agree Kentucky is the favorite to win it, but they are playing as I'm Typing this reply, and are behind in the first half, we'll see what happens.

Jet, I'm not familar with that school myself, buts thats good enough for me.

Thanks again  Go Bluedevils!

Thanks Guys, I really needed that, Duke was tested tonight, it was a tough grind it out game. They managed to pull away at the end, but it was a tough nose to nose bulldog of a game. I really appreciated your good Karma, thanks again!

Cam

PS.... Now we got Baylor next, to reach the Final Four, and should we win that game it could be Kentucky next if they win their next game, right now thats the team most likely picked to be the favorite to win since Kansas and Syrcuse have been knocked out. Keep the good Karma coming guys, thanks so much!

My team is playing tonight in the NCAA'S for a chance to make it into the elite eight The Duke Bluedevils, so any good karma you can send my way would be much appreciated, College Basketball is another one of my passions, so you'll have to forgive me if your not interested, but again, accepting any good karma from anyone. I'm not really a superstitious person at all, but then I thought, it couldn't hurt.

Welcome to Dave and Sinkybhoy,

Happy Birthday Dave, Glad to have you both on board. It's funny you called it a gold mine, that was my excat words to my wife back when I found it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have, it certainly has helped me improve with the songs but mostly because of all the knowledgeable people here that are more than happy to help, again glad to have you both onboard.

I mirror many of the thoughts that eveyryone here has, especially MKM's comments on photocopied sheet music, I get that, and agree that would just be wrong,I even get that downloading music off the free internet sites are wrong, but if the worst happens, and we should lose the music it would be great if somehow we could keep this site open to all who have become friends here just to report in,and remain friends, that would be the greatest loss to me, to lose contact with everyone, everyone that has helped me, given advice, shared their lives, their milestones, music, friendship, suggestions, help and respect. But in the end I think we all know that the music company big wigs will win out, they have the money, high powered attorneys and the law's are geared toward them. Like so many others I have bought music that I would never had bought before and by artists that I never heard of before until I joined Chordie, so yes, I'm another one who has spent money because of sites like this one. I can't for the life of me understand what it is that they are missing here, anyway, just my two cents worth.

Sometimes every word in a song dosent fit with a strum or beat, you have to squeeze a word in there sometimes, or the words start after a certain beat or after a certain beat to be able to keep time, at least thats what I've found, if I haven't explain this to well, or just flat wrong, please someone let me know because I struggled with this myself.

Thanks Topdown, I've always has NC State has my 2nd team, because I loved Jimmy V, also got to see Rodney Monroe who as I'm sure you Remember playing at State, still looked like he could lace them up to me.

SouthPaw, Virginia Tech may still make it in, at least for now it looks that way"according to Joe Lanardi
" from ESPN, I hope they do.

- The World Premiere of RED DIRT RISING -

Here it is everyone. The moment we have been working toward for 3 years. On May 15, 2010 we will premiere the film at North Wilkesboro Speedway. And get this... Not only is this going to be the premiere of the film but this is going to be an all day event celebrating all the early pioneers of racing.

EVENTS will include:

-- The Buck Bakers Driving School day program where you will have a chance to drive on the historic North Wilkesboro track (http://www.buckbaker.com)

-- In the evening we will have North Wilkesboro Speedway's FIRST race since re-opening with the "Legendary Flathead Ford" Racing Series

-- After the race, a live concert performance by Matt Dylan (Carolina Moonshine)

-- And finally at dusk, we will watch the movie on the track!!!

This is going to be a big event and will also include picture cars from the movie, antique moonshine cars and many of the cast and crew from the movie on hand to meet and greet and sign autographs--- Lets call it what it is; a Checkered Carpet Event!

So spread the word everyone! We need as many fans as possible to make this film a success.

Tickets will be going on sale in the next few weeks so stay tuned.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to put new strings on my Martin A/E, I'm looking for a deep rich sound, I know it's a subjective subject, that everyone has their own taste, but I was just looking for recomendations as to what anyone like's, especially Martin owners, but not just Martin owners. I've tried Elixers on my Ibanez, D'addario but I guess I'm still trying to find the strings I like best. So any help would be much appreciated. Wilbaye, what about you I know you have a Martin, what strings do you like on yours?
