Does anyone know and can in the simplest terms, explain to me how to post a pic from Facebook on here from my ipad. I just seem to get lost somewhere down the line and get frustrated. Help please.

Just had first look of the day and all of the latest forum posts were health adverts, nothing to do with guitar at all. Where are the mods?.

My next door neighbour approx 2000, Peter Hills R.I.P. In bands from the 60's he could hear a new Beatles song on the radio at work and was able to play it that night in the local pubs and clubs. What a great talent, not only a fantastic musician but also avery funny man. I'm proud to have known him and learnt if only a small amount from him. I bought a guitar after meeting him.
Thanks Peter.

Hi Doug. I need to get into my local music store to get a slide. That will be on Saturday as it's a good half hour drive. Then I can get started.

Thanks Amy. The go to guitar is put away and the cheaper Tak g series is ready to be bled on. But I am quite interested in learning a bit of slide now.

Finger still bleeding and very sore. Don't know if slide will go over bandage so will wait a few days before trying to play open turnings. Think it will be a while before finger end can bend.

Thanks Grah1 I'll give that a go. Never tried open E yet. But I do can't always get what you want in open G. Finger end is killing me but the Tak is missing me. Ta.

Splattered the end of my index finger left hand today, something fell on it, what a mess.
Thinking of tuning the guitar to an open tuning and barring with my middle finger for chords and for a bit embellishment a few sus's with the third finger and pinky. Would appreciate advice on which open tuning might be best. In anticipation and pain. Cheers Gav.

I had exact same thing about two and half years ago Nela, everything Hunky Dory now. Like Zurf says the recovery is a bit of a pain in the arse but it was worth it. Fire Art, I hope your op is as much a success as mine was. Good luck.
