the main thing i dont understand is how chord patterns relate to different scale patterns.like if im playind a chord progression in lets say G major what different scale keys can i play in? Ive seen chord progressions played in one key but the lead was started in a different key. how does this work, basically? i hope my question makes sense

Re: RAP (16 replies, posted in Poems)
rap is poetry. the common beilf that its all f... this and f... that is untrue. bands like the roots dont get enough attention . my beef with rap is the use of electronics to soley make a song. theres alot of good rap out there but there is more crap that gives it a bad name. remember people hated elvis when he came out, but look what happend. we fear things we dont understand

this may sound wierd , but Victor Wooton has a video on youtube about slap bass and he shows you how to use all your fingers on your picking hand. It worked wonders on my finger picking on guitar!

I cant read music notes at all. I play by ear and by reading tabs. I think the problem is that most tabs are wrong, even the ones in store bought books. But does that make me any less of a guitar player? Hell No!!!!

the top string (thickest) is an E then A, D,G. Unless you have a 5STRING IN WHICH your thickest string is a B then so on (E,A,D,G). Your best bet would be to get an electric tuner. There fairly inexpensive and save a lot of time and effort.I recommend Korg
