I`ve decided to forego lunch today!
Some how my appetite has gone.

Cover songs pay the bills.
It`s as simple as that,i prefer originals.But lets face it the huge majority
of bands do covers.Although i saw The Bootleg Beatle Band.Great night of
music.If ya can`t see the real thing a good cover is sometimes ok.

When i do silly stuff, i thought i needed a silly name.
hence `The Coxless Four`
`rough as` well musically i am pretty dam rough.
kinda a warning,if you gonna listen to my stuff this is what to expect.

I use capo to stop me getting in a rut.
A friend told me recently to tune one of my guitars down 1 tone.( D i think)
i did this and i hated the sound,but after playing a while it is now my go to guitar.
can still play all the usual chord shapes,but it has an interesting sound now.
so think i`ll always keep one guitar tuned this way.Love It!

i haven`t a clue what chords i played,just banged it out quick.
just trying to get the most from a bad voice & bad guitar playing.
but i had fun anyway.your listen has encouraged me to maybe
start putting songs up again.you devil for punishment you.

an end of an era,they don`t make sport stars like Colin anymore.
He was humble ordinary type of bloke.The best thats been.
Saw him in the pub the day he got his knighthood.
I would guess all the other people  knighted were at an exclusive cocktail bar.
It`s a great pity that todays sports people seem to be all cash & flash.

Don`t forget heaps of photos!

how about recording a few versions for SOM.
