Gidday Zurf
that turned out real good.
Brother
met my brother for lunch today
boy it`s been a while
got thinking of our different lives
recollecting made me smile
both of us young no more
but nowhere near the end
looking back at our lives
the tortoise and the hare
though we`ve traveled different roads
i don`t know if either would again
he with his many wives
me with only one
he with his many jobs
me with little more than one
brothers
one brave and confident
the other not so
the tortoise and the hare
MKM
practice, whats that? i love your first time version.
thats the way i always do it.i think a few mistakes are far overriden by the
energy & spontaneity of a first take.
lets hope SOM momentum keeps going.
Don`t forget heaps of photos!
vids would be good too.
a great chance to support song of the mth.
how about recording a few versions for SOM.
have a great time.with ya in spirit.
Great idea MKM
just banged out a quicky to get the ball a rollin`
come on chordians, i challenge you to cover this song! YES YOU!

Gidday Bill
good to see you here again.
Tig
yeah Peatle & i meet for a beer most sundays,we talk music & the projects we are thinking about.
We bounce off each other throwing ideas around,we both like to try new things.currently hes doing double tracking
recording on his phone.I`m doing stories & heavy metal. We are in contact online a couple of times a week also.
Jandle is a busy girl, don`t see her much.still in contact mthly.Beastie has fallen in love so he`s a goneburger, don`t see him at all.
He runs a uke group which meet fotnightly.they get about a doz people turn up for a strum.
Class Guitar
yeah i`ve still got first guitar.
yes i do buy the best as i need all the help i can get.
also there`s something sexy about a nice looking quality guitar.
Peatle
it`s a pity he shamed himself, because he had talent to burn.
a true original in a world of copies-ts.
he does an amazing version of smoke on the water.
an inspiration on how to add your own personality to a song.
Peatle
you`re on fire!
doing some wonderful stuff lately.
another cracker.
i look forward to what comes next.
Gidday all
i`ve been following threads lately & there`s been a bit of talk about humour.
Lately i been doing poems & stories instead of songs.
hope you get a laugh out of this one.

What a classic Peatle.
thanks for the song & the conversation
since we been talking about kids songs,i can`t get it out of my system.
i`ve written quite a few this week.
thanks.
Gidday all
If you are getting an effects pedal,i would erg you to look @ Red Witch Pedals.
http://www.redwitchpedals.com/
they are true analog pedals, they have built in lith battery, 120hrs playing time.
small & solid also.
They are made by a small company here in NZ.
ps. i happen to shareholder,so i`m a bit biased.
One Word
BRILLIANT
well done both of you.
Very good peatle.i enjoyed the chorus(yeah i`m a real chorus guy).
the two voices & guitar.you should put more of your words on Chordie.
i know you struggle a wee bit with vocal( i know the feeling) but your words can`t be faulted.
But i enjoy your vocal delivery,it truly is original & thats what it`s all about.
bring it on baby!!!!
Just wondering if we could do a group song.
everyone sing one line eg` we are the world`/band aid. etc.
maybe `all you need is love` or `a little help from my friends`
i`m sure one of the clever guys could do a backing track & patch it all together?
would only be worth doing if we had a commitment from 6 plus chordians.
What Ya Think?
yeah phill i drop by every day,but hard to get a conversation going.Often no replies to private emails either.
so i don`t bother to post much.same goes for Peatle.
Beamer my version is nothing like the ramones,i`m sorry.
originally i kinda heard it as rockabilly,
Peatle has taken my version to his musician friend & they are going to add bass & drums.
Gidday Beamer
i like the look of this one,i may have a crack at it.
look forward to your version.
Gidday Tig
I`m pleased to see repeated lines in the chorus.
I`m a great fan of repeating lines,as a player it gives you an anchor
to go from.(if this makes sense)
On the subject of lyrics, you never know what is going to work.
the song that was voted `The Best song in last 50 yrs` in NZ.
lyric goes.
what else can i do
i need some thoughts that are new
Do do do do do do do do do
da da da da da da da da da
de de de de de de de de de
Gidday Bill
sorry i can`t help.the biggest problem with my computer is the nut on the keyboard.
Bill
i`m with you on this, heaps of chordians come look ,but no one wants to communicate
i thought it was something i said?
well you asked for something silly, here it is. here is `The Flu`

No one has supported CSOM
so here`s a wee bit of song,i didn`t have the whole song so just did a taster.
not very tasty, i don`t really do covers, with my lack of ability.
Is some else going to do one???
come on you proper singers

Gidday Peatle
i haven`t got a clue what happens with online dating.
