Gidday Bushy
I`m a huge fan of John Williamson.
You get a real feel of Australia listening to his songs.
Wish we had someone in NZ doing similar.

Gidday
i put up a song a few days ago & it got ignored.so i thought
maybe we`ll try some humour, see if anyone likes that.
as usual it`s off the cuff ramble.
as u can hear i had a ball recording it.

Great question,i haven`t a clue what talent is or how it comes about.( i wouldn`t mind some)
one thing i do know is the big artists aren`t always the best artists.
they do something that appeals to a awful lot of people.
They are just the ones that thru luck or persistance/hard work,  opportunity  have
made it.
I heard Michael Buble` say there`s plenty of better singers than he,but he`s had the breaks.
and considers himself very grateful.
Just need to go online to see brilliant music/artists that goes virtually unnoticed.

Just a demo of an idea i had.
It`s kinda about those of us stuck in a musical rut.

Gidday,
I`ve done a few collaborations lately with chordians .
This is one i did with Peatles lyrics,as usual with me, off the cuff.
Peatle likes it,but i`m not so sure.

Peatles rocked more than 12 bars i can assure you.
last time i saw him he didn`t have a beer in his hand,i nearly didn`t recognize him.

Gidday all.
lately i`ve been thinking,There is a lot of music that doesn`t get played anymore.
Almost a moral crusade,my question is!
A.  Should we stop playing music  because the artist is a poedafile now? Eg Gary Glitter
      If your answer is yes
B.   How about a murderer? eg Phil Spector.
      If yes
C.   How about a wife beater?
D.   how about a pick pocket?
It`s a funny old world of mixed morals,we celebrate drug addled rock stars.Bad language/Rap
D.  Or do we just let music speak for itself?
Come on Chordians get thinking about this one.Love to hear your answers.

Thanks for the listens & comments on soundcloud.
I`m not like you clever people who can play it like the original.
So i just close my eyes & see what happens,it often comes as a surprise to me
to hear what i`ve done when i play it back.somehow i changed the chords as well, go figure!
but having a ball,i guess that is the main thing.
i`ve been getting a bit of flack about my stuff lately, but hey, no problem. At least they took the time to listen,
all you can ask for is an honesty opinion.
So thinking of changing my name to `Audio Assault` what ya think?

Sorry Jandle.i didn`t want to spook the horses.hence To Love Somebody.
How about` Nights On Broadway` it`s not a favourite of mine at all.
I`ve chosen this as i think it will be a different challenge,to the usual stuff.

Gidday Jandle
many of the songs suggested are of a similar type.
so i`m thinking lets rattle the cage & do a Bee Gees disco song.
Now calm down, maybe settle for one of the great songs ever.
`To Love Somebody`

Gidday All
thought i better support song of the month.
jammed a quicky version,i`ll put it on soundcloud for a few days if ya interested.

`Ordinary stuff `to me means. everyday stuff/uninteresting/maybe even mundane.
the things we take for granted.

`Another Day` by Paul McCartney proves that ordinary stuff makes great songs.
Penny Lane is another,a classic example of ordinary lives.
Of course there`s heaps more, but these two songs came to mind first.
Has anyone else got examples of songs about ordinary stuff?

Phill
good to see everyone hears it differently.i guess thats what music is all about.
i`m keen on a little bit of tamborine backing the guitar on the stripped down part.
you`ve done an excellent job on this track.
