Neo your voice and guitar came through good. A great cover suits your style of playing and singing.

Thanks smile

NIce one Neo ..... sounding good.  What sort of setup is that new head mic your using?

Thank you - the headset I tried last month was a cheapie from China; I thought it sounded OK at the time, but when I reviewed the videos later, it was of poor quality - so I've gone back to using my Rode Lav+, and just attached it to the headset so it brings the microphone closer to my mouth, and _seems_ to get a better balance between voice and guitar. (although, with one mic, and no way to monitor it, it's still a bit of hit and miss ...)

Cheers

Well done; I always found solo gigs more stressful than band gigs, as when you're solo there's no-one else to mess up smile

Good work and look forward to hearing some more tunes!!

In Australia we celebrate it in September; however we did have the birthday party for both my boys at the train museum ... tired now!!

But happy fathers day to those who _did_ celebrate it ...

No dramas! I'm glad you posted, as I ordered a chord wheel a few weeks ago from that site, and you prompted me that I haven't received it yet!! smile

Cheers

Richard

APRA takes care of a lot of this for Australians: http://apraamcos.com.au/about-us/what-we-do/

I was receiving a cheque (back in the days of cheques!!) about once a month for $50 or so, from playing gigs and songs broadcast on the radio, and had my APRA membership up on the wall ... if I updated my address in their database, I'd probably get a cheque for 10c today wink

Cheers for the history lesson, though!!

Thank you Bill for thinking about me. I am doing good but get a bit frustrated as I no longer have the full range of movement in my arms and hands which restricts my playing nowdays.

Good to hear from you ... !! Hoping you can pop by and add some more words of wisdom from the land of the long white cloud ... !!

Nice to know I'm in such esteemed company! lol Seriously though, it's actually quite enjoyable to learn little things like this regularly ... it's all a part of what keeps life interesting.

Wait until you get the chance to change the strings on a Floyd Rose tremolo - that's always a fun experience!! smile

Do you have or use any of the products you showed?  Which one?

I've got two of these controllers:

Bass with GK-3B attached (although here it's running into a wireless then into the Line6 into the amp):

And a pic of my mate's kid playing the PRS controller:

Same guitar, but running as a guitar, not synth controller, when I was testing out a KLd tube amp:

Somewhere I have some *really* old photos of the GR system up on stage - on an old 110 film camera, but it was big and bulky and it only make it to a couple of gigs ... the controller is a nice guitar, but heavy and a bit awkward to play ... I'll see if I can find the pics at home ...

Looks like the links to these photos are gone; here they are on another site ...
