Sounds  great  Richard   shame  we are  9084 miles  apart  would  be  good  to  play  together .     

Jim  I  still  play  in pubs  and  festivals   got  two   biggies  coming  up   Kendal  jun21 and Cockermouth july  6  then  one  of  my  favorites  the  Ilkley  live    on the12th     

Probably   my  favourite  rock  song  ever  Another  Girl Another  Planet  originaly  by  the  Only  Ones  .This  was   the Kendal  festival  about  9  yrs  ago  , I'd just  survived  a serious  opperation    and  this  was  my  first  gig   after  I'd  recovered .

Sorry  to  be  contaversial  guys   but   I  really  dont  like  Mc Cartney   or  much  of the  Beatles work  Some  of the  early  covers  they  did  were  good  versions  but  much  of  the later  stuff doesnt  inspire  me  .Some  of  Mc Cartneys  lyrics  I  find  poor  and  meaningless . Songs   like  Admiral   Halsey  ,Maxwells  Silver  Hammer and  that  awful  frog   chorus  thing  are  pretty  bad   in my  opinion . There are   many  other  songwriters  who  surpass  Mc Cartney  .

Yeah  I  have  another  which  I  have  had  about  20 yrs   and  its  great   .this  one  needs  the  action lowering  a  little  to  make it  as  playable  as  the  other   but  it  sounds  good  so  far  .Plus  they  are  nice  and  light  to  lug around . I  plan to   fit  a  humbucker   and  some   9 guage  strings  to  make  it  a  little  more  like   an   electric hollow body
