Hey Dino - I'll get it out there. It's a gear round up though. Most of the video equipment has been used on babys not music lately. I'd like to hear it Joe Walsh style. I bet it sounded good.

Most of these are on chordie but the Leonard Cohen song was from the Chords of Leonard Cohen website.

Oh yeah, I'm also playing around with Goodbye Billy Walker by KAP and Were Not so Lonely Any More by Andrew - both from the chordie songwriting forum and I recommend them.

Neat-o song! I really like it. I'd like to play it for my granddaughter who lost her dog too. I'm just learning how to play the guitar so I would like to ask a question. The Solo, is that played by fingering or strumming the cords? I tried it both ways but it doesn't sound right to me. I'm not sure how to play it. I'm really messing that part up. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey CJ - I finger pick while I'm running through the chords in the song but that is just how I play. If you want you can tab something that sounds good. Just pick some tabs that follow along with the chords, like in the verses if you get my meaning. I'm kind of a John Prine fan and while I can't play as good as he can I try and follow his style.

Hey Badeye - I'm not near ready for that and I think it is going to take a while before I will be...I've lost dogs before but this one really hurt. I had a lot of bad things going on in my life around that time but loosing her was the worst by far. Maybe someday I'll be ready for another dog but she was special to me. She was totally dedicated to me and always lit up whenever I walked into the room. She had tons of personality and was just a real character.

Yep, I still miss my dog, but it is nice to be able to play and listen to so many good songs about other people who understand the special relationship people have with dogs. Jane Sibbery's Everything Reminds Me of My Dog really fits me because I still get up in the morning and look over to where my dog should be and she's not there...yet I still expect her to be there even though I know she's been gone awhile now.

Okay, looks to be slowing down but this is a pretty good list of songs:
