dino48 wrote:hi russell looks like we will have too play Green Bay again,we barely won the first time this year, I am glad too see Arron Rodgers is back I think it will be a hard fought game. I do not know if you watch collage ball but on New Years day the Stanford vs Michigan game will be one too watch at the Rose Bowl. Go Stanford!!
I will watch most of the bowl games Stanford and Michigan looks like a good one and I like Alabama. I think it will be a close game both teams have a good offense and the defenses are similar (The pack and the 49s) one of us will be smiling lol
This time the 49ers gotta go through Green Bay and Rogers is getting healthier should be a good game I hope the Packs defense can keep Kapernick running in check I think they will

Thank you of course this is a bias opinion lol
beamer wrote:So they are blocked out right mods?? I now know who stay away from for sure.
I don't think anyone is blocked out as you put it there would have to be more serious reasons involved to earn a ban
I agree with everything Zurf said, its a sad story but with a little common sense it could have been avoided.
I am a Martin Silk n steel fan been using them for over 20 yrs love um
Wishing all Chordians a Very Merry Christmas or a Merry whatever you celebrate
Strange day The Packers lost to Pittsburgh and Chicago could have wrapped up the Central Division but got creamed by the Eagles so next week will decide the Central Division in Chicago I sure hope Rogers can play should be a tough game either way
Merry Christmas Joe have a great time

I really enjoyed your creativity to bring it all together, and you've got a nice smooth / relaxed touch on your guitar. And especially liked your comment about having freshness in each day ... well done, man!
Much appreciated and happy holidays to you I am recording a new song I composed I have a drummer and keyboard player who came over and cut some tracks on my Tascam DP24 l will edit the videos shot of the recording sessions into one video the song is hard rock genre it will be ready to view after New years on my You tube channel the song title is "Prelude to Oblivion in A Major" it deals with the unrest in the middle east. more later
bobwill wrote:Hi Russell, I listened several times, very, very, nice arrangement and, your are a heck of a player, always like your songs too. b
Thanks Bob a compliment is like a Christmas present only it lasts longer
dino48 wrote:sounding good, someday I will find out how too get the youtube videos to my posts.
I can help you with that. when you find a video on you tube you want to share on Chordie or anywhere else do this:
At the very top is the address bar if you left click your mouse on the http//www. it will turn blue then right click on it and a list will appear one of the options is "copy" right click on copy this stores the address of the video in your mouse go to Chordie in your post after your finished saying what you want hit your enter key this will move the cursor to the bottom of the next paragraph then right click and the list will appear left click on "paste" this will put the location of the video in your post (the address) the rest is easy click submit and the link to the video will be in you post.
The sharp and flat keys in order

Yup. That's why they play the games.
But have you seen the NFC championship odds?
http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/futures/
I'd put my "why the heck not" money on Philly at 25:1.
I like what Indiana Jones says "Don't tell me the odds" your odds makers may be right and I almost agreed with them on Seattle till San Fran pulled the rug out from under them.
I think it really comes down to what sound you like to put out and stick with I found mine
dino48 wrote:Russell ,any idea when Arron Rogers will be back too play?
He is being evaluated Wednesday by the team doctor only he can give the go ahead Rogers wants to play and feels alright but its not his call so we should know tomorrow
My Boss ME-50 has all the effects including a wah wah and expression pedal just have to get to know them. Phase and flange I don't have to much use for but I like the stereo chorus and the harmonizer there all listed in the modulation choices I kind of stick with a bit of reverb some delay and for sustain I use the distortion it has 20 different settings both clean and nasty for convenience the built in silent tuner is great
jerome.oneil wrote:Normally I'd say I felt bad for the Giants, but Eli Manning has always bugged me.
Right now, the Seahawks have to win 1 of their remaining two games and they are the #1 seed, or, the 49ers have to lose both their remaining games, but I don't see that happening in this universe.
The NFC playoffs are going to be a bloodletting between the Panthers, '9ers, and Seahawks, with everyone else as chum (sorry Russell!)
Should be good stuff!

dino48 wrote:looks like the Seahawks and the 49ers won today, and the best game I saw today was Green Bay come back from halftime loosing bad too win against Dallas. G.B. pulled it off and it was a great game too watch.
The first half I was ready to turn the tv off and go to Walmart but being a die hard fan I stayed and what happened in the second half was unbelievable just the spark the pack needs hopefully it will carry over next week when the Steelers come to town (one game at a time) Flynn looked really sharp

One of my favorite all time players, Shawn Lane, used to say that "The great thing about scales is that they remind you that even if you hit a bad note, you're only one fret away from a good one."
Sage advice.
A similar saying I picked up from a sax player in one of my bands was "if you hit a bad note repeat it most people will think you intended to play it"
That was interesting the sound is effected by what it bounces off of or lack of even the surface the kit is set up on affects the sound I think the same holds true for amps
Glen Campbell played with the Champs the group that recorded "tequila" before that he was a session musician for recording companies in Nashville Tennessee
The Seahawks crushed the Saints I watched it on ESPN they are the team to beat the 49ers are going to have there hands full next week
Phill Williams wrote:there was a concert on sky arts1 (UK) the other day with jeff beck and his group with guests. i couldn't watch it all but what i saw almost made me give-up playing all together. he's obviously developed his own style over the years since "hi ho silver lining" but soooo amazing!! and not just him his drummer was phenomenal, if i could have found a drummer like that i'd have never gone solo! the bass played was a young lady, and i mean young early 20's maybe? she had a solid rhythmic style and even threw in some solo's, amazing. i think she may have been his daughter but i may be over guessing there. the keyboardist was also great...what a band. i'd be afraid to play with them in the audience.
That was a great performance by everyone in the band I have seen it a few times but I would not be afraid to play if they or anyone was in the audience that's the time to show off
